Stupid Phases
this thread is going to be dedicated to all those stupid phases which piss every1 off coz they mean and make no sense! lol! this is what im talking about:
"Its always the last place you look" - course its always the last place u look coz ur not gona look somewhere else when uve found it are u?
"Donkeys years old" - WTF has donkeys goto do with it?
"Its raining cats and dogs" - no it isnt
"I gut to the foot of our stairs" (stupid english phase meaning "im suprised") - im suprised...so ill goto the bottom of the stairs...right!
"Dont let the cat out the bag" (meaning dont tell ne1) - so whats a cat goto to with it?
can u see what i mean? oh well, i thought id express my views, please feel free to add ne phases that u think are completely pointless!

I dont know many English phases, but in Holland we have also enough of them...Most of them dont make sense...

actually, a lot of those stupid phrases have some meaning behind them, a lot of old stories, but i'm too tired and lazy to tell you them right now

Actually one just popped in my mind from a Simpson's episode where this guy goes UH OH SPAGHETTIO! Cracks me up everytime

when someone asks you for the time and taps their wrist...you just say..."yeah i have watch where the hell is yours? if i ask you where the washroom is do i tap my crotch? NOOOO..."
when someone comes up to you when you're waiting for the bus and asks has the bus come yet? you say "uh...if it has..i wouldn't be here talking to YOU"
when a product comes out that states it's 'new and improved' which one is it for christ's sake?? if it's NEW then the product has never been made before if it's IMPROVED then it was made better from an existing product.
there are a few for you guys. hope yas had a laff.
