I dont think you know what id subject myself too to be able to party it up down there this summer. Fuck my friends went last summer and they deeply saddened me upon arriving back to Canada and telling me of all of the amazing parties they went to. Max Graham ripping shit up in Pula @ a packed Roman Amphithetre, Danny Howells playing all night on a beautiful beach on the Adriatic, dropping I Feel Love as the sun comes up! It doesnt get much better than that!

Anyways, EVERYONE knows that Eastern Europe is where its at when it comes to throwing some of the freshest, rawest and craziest parties in Europe. Whether it be in Poland, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Rep. or whereever. Most superstar djs have realized that these new, previously unchartered territories have some of the best vibes and most up for it clubbers on the planet. Everyone likens it to how the UK used to be when the scene was first starting up there. Its R.A.W. Theres no cheesey commercial bullshit, just mental people partying it up in a basic stripped down fashion. Its raw, emotional, passionate hedonism @ its best.And thats why so many people want to play in that area of the world there. Im sure anyone that has been to Eastern Europe recently can attest to the fact that things are blowing up there at an enormous rate. That whole region is going OFF right now. And you dont need to look any further than something like the Exit festival!

.. yea i was at that place.. it's called Fort Bourguignon! umek@kanzyani were spinning an after hour party from 9-6pm.. and then some local dj's spun at the same place 'till the sun came down.. partying for about 24 hours that day non-stop.. from about 11 pm - 10 pm the next day.. u.n.f.u.c.k.i.n.g.b.e.l.i.e.v.a.b.l.e.!!

and then the after hour - kanzyani spun 'till 12, then they went b2b for about 2 hrs cuz valentino was booked that same night - so umek spun 'till 6 i believe, maybe later..

What do you do at 7:00 am when the party is over. Go home?

No Yugo/Cro/Greece for me this summer either, due to the same reason... summerschool (that's what happens when you party too much and screw up in school).

But hey, next summer Greece is hosting the Olympics too, so that's one more reason to get down there...

I dunno, but I think if it werent for me going to Cro waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when in 96?! I probably wouldnt be posting on sites such as these. I remember going to Cro as some punk ass rocker kid *lol* and coming back as some techno/house crazed raving freak. The first party I ever went to was a Futureshock in Zagreb, my cousin took and showed me a whole new lifestyle and way of partying. I remember Dj Hooligan (Da Hool) was the headling dj, and I still to this day have my "Imagination of House" cd lying around somewhere in my house! I came back to Canada with these whacked house cds from Holland and "Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation" totally shocking everyone that knew me as a punk ass rocker kid before I left Canada!

You know what?! I dont get why the techno scene seems to be the biggest in Croatia! I see parties with Derrick May, Kanzayani, Stacey Pullen, Sven Vath, Marco Bailey, Miss B, Umek, Terry Francis, Circulation and whomever...but very little proggy house djs, I mean aside from Emerson, Max Graham, Timo, Danny Howells, Seb Fontaine...and like barely any trance djs come out to CRO! Why does Techno dominate down there?! And dont say something dumb like "cause its better" lol...!
