i dont know whether theyd be able to get up to blackpool or not really, bearing in mind they live quite a bit further south than me even when im at home so it would be a really long drive.

i dunno. they were doing it for free to get their name known a bit more and i dunno if blackpool is the place they want to do that...

Right don't hate me for this coz this aint totally my fault but i cant sort the flyers anymore as my mum got rid of the fuckin printer that does em, i could have done em 2 weeks ago but nothing was sorted so now its a problem so we might aswell look for the nearest local printer and get em to sort it once everything is arranged.

how much would you expect the flyers to cost for various quantities? imm sure a few of us will chip in a few quid and get enough to pay for them anyways

we were quoted 250quid for 10000 in some outlets, can possibly get them between 200-250

I'm not sure coz i was probably gonna end up getting em done for free but that isnt gonna happen now so best bet is just to go to a few places and get quotes, some shops are funny about peoples own designs others are fine with it some will charge a setup fee others wont and depends on what method of printing we end up choosing and how intricate the flyers need to look and how good quality they need to be there is a lot of variables

well we need some people to get designing flyers with a few loose rules such as :

keep size to a minimum - kinda like the wide ones you get that aint that tall? aint got one to hand to measure

keep colours to a minimum - 2 or 3

one sided or dual sided?

imm sure they are all factors that come into it, as to funding shal we see how many people are willing to donate a tenner? i will

gibbo do your folks know anyone who can do us mates rates?

I will see about getting other people to do it at mates rates but mainly my mum and dad don't work with other retail printers usually more wholesale jobs to print 50000 of everything so it looks a bit unlikley

we have no flyers coz of the lack of organisation or clarity of whats been going on. all i ever got roudn to was a logo and a basic idea, cant make anything when i dunno 1) how its gonna be printed 2) colour limitations 2) size limitations 3) resolution limitations 4) the correct lineups 5) every other form of info listed to be included. now its more awkward coz im at work ,but ill still do it if all the above are satisfied, which they are not so my hands r tied

hrm i would have thought that colour, size + resolution limitations would have beengiven to u by gibbo as he can find out what they can do for free other than that the lineup will stand at neo, dave, luke, gibbo, myself and probably jay if the hours are any good

Cant we do a tribute night, and make people think its the real DJs. Like the line up could be Marco Vw and Paul Van Dyke and Armin von Buuren.

But it doesnt matter what line up you put on the flyers nobody will know who they r apart from us lot.

I think the long thin flyers would be the best shape, dont know about resolution, but if you made it the highest possible then it can be reduced down accordingley. as to colours 2 or 3 at the most to keep it simple and effective

well, for whenever we actually get round to doing it, if we are still in need of a big name and can pay a small amount of money which i will have to negogiate nearer the time (or this could be for our 2nd night) i can get john askew in. thats a proper dj to finish the night on + he said he will do it me for cheap

he has loads of productions out at the moment, they r generally trancy and very mint.. i think he will definatly be a name for the future.. + if he can headline passion im sure he can headline add:ction

This is true, ur average joe chart lover won't know who John Askew is. I put this to the test earlier at work and asked some random sat near me if he had seen John Askew. I was then given the strangest of looks and told to see a Dr.
