I've just caught up with the tracks of 2004 (electronicawise) - some of the best I've heard ultil now is:

Dogzilla - Your Eyes (Scott Mac hi tec future funk Mix) <- best harder trance I've heard in a while, Dogzilla does it again.
Moogwai - Hunted by a Freak (Attention Deficit Leave a Light on Mix) <- this needs to be released

I dont know about top track of 2004 but Rigdewalkers feat El - Find (Original Mix) and Introvert vs Bjork - Joga Breaks should also be mentioned, as it has before in this thread. Oh, and I think Sahara and Kalahari are really good.
