The weird thing for me as I HATED it at first, took me months to warm to it, I've really come to love that Whiteroom sound.

This song doesn't have the cheesy vocals to do that

If it gets too much airplay, it'll become boring and nauseous. Just like ATRC did, and the fact that it doesn't have vocals (YET) won't be a problem to people start hating the music.
But anyway, when and if Adam and Andy decide to do a vocal mix, it'll mean the "end".

ok a quick lookie on the 'realms of internet music' reveals:

whiteroom - the white room (scott bond vs xdr intro mix)

now im not saying that we should do this and that, but whats up with this song?

What's up with = ?
It's a reconstruction, I suppose, from scotts bond intro to Ahead + the original white room. I suppose you already knew that, though.

oh no i didnt... the only information i have on this is the title, i have never heard it before...actually the title reads

white room - the white room ('jump the next train' scott bond vs xdr remix)

its just the slow train mix of Young Parisans Feat Ben Lost - Jump The Next Train mixed into Whiteroom from the start of the Ahead cd mixed by Scott Bond. Some1 has just reconstructed the end of whiteroom to make it one tune.

ah... isnt this xdr guy the one who also tried to patch that armin vs tiesto - another day vs urban train song? sounds like some really bored kid trying to use his sound editing program or something

anyway, the 'official b1 side' is actually a remix by someone called ben? it didnt sound that bad to me... in fact it sounds quite zoney, like it makes me feel like im in another place...

Honestly It doesn't really matter whether is been reconstructed or is 'belonged' by someone else, but white room has done a great job, this is such a beautiful song. I suppose they won't make it as vocal mix. I hope they can come up with any songs like "White Room". Looking forward to hear more songs from them

Try Airwave - Save me (Whiteroom remix) and Whiteroom - Some day.
None of those are released so far though.

Although Someday has (or is) a vocal mix. Still have to give it a try.

Most creative track i've ever heard. GJ Moor and White!

Smiley DJ Someday

If anybody is interested, WOOM recordings has signed Whiterooms new single called - `Someday`. It will be in its original vocal form or as an instrumental. Check out www.woomrecordings.com for samples and more information. To be released 3rd Jan `05.

Thanks

This thread is still going?

BTW, I am digging "Some Day"

Posted by nettwerk on Nov-25-2004 17:06:

Me too, actually, but yet the dub version. When I finish hearing TiC2 I gotta look into the vocal one...

Posted by Sinnica Hax on Dec-01-2004 10:52:

the vocal version sucks though compared to the instrumental imo

isnt it true of just about every electronica song ?

and isnt it also time to start a new thread about the new song?
