What about the news that JV may race for Renault next year as well, and Renault vowing that they will have a Ferrari beatable car by the start of next season...

Great to see that a LOT of teams are keen on pushing Ferrari off the podium!!

well apparently there will be a new team in F1 starting 2006, or even as soon as next season if they buy out Jaguar. The team will be Dallara which has had some experience in motorcycle racing I believe.

And some more BAR news, it seems as though Sato will race for them next year as well, and Button will be replaced by Anthony Davidson (25), who had been testing for BAR this season.

eek

Dallara produced F1-chassis in the early eighties, if i'm not mistaking..

good to know there's going to be a new team though, as Jaguar will disappear next year and the future of Jordan and Minardi is pretty uncertain.

whos with me and hoping that the race tomorrow has some rain in it? to me personally a wet race makes things more exciting! and lets just hope that the weather is not toooo bad like it was for the qualifying to be canceled

Villeneuve will win next year

Posted by fcuk on Oct-15-2004 03:48:

no chance However he will get high in the points As long as Schumi is around i doubt someone as experienced as JV will become world champion. Others who might come close for the title next year are Button and Alonso.

Posted by techno_freak on Oct-16-2004 02:57:

schumi has to retire! otherwise F1 will be what it is today...boring!

Posted by noikeee on Oct-25-2004 10:14:

the kimi-montoya duo is gonna own ferrari next season

btw, how did the button deal ended? is he staying with BAR? i think that cause one of these days there was some report on tv when they were saying williams were looking out for a driver from a bunch that included pizzonia, heidfeld, coulthard and some other guy i forgot. damn i hope button does move to williams, a duo with webber would be awesome too

Posted by TOR on Oct-25-2004 17:56:

Button has to stay at BAR. Williams will now have to chose between Pizzonia, Heidfeld, Couldthard or some unknown talent nobody has heard of.

as for the GP, i quite enjoyed it. well deserved victory for Juan-Pablo.. one of his strongest races ever since he joined F1.

Good race to finish the season, the drives of Kimi, Alonso and Montoya were outstanding. Can't wait for next years season Kimi and Juan Pablo

Im still tipping Schumacher

Posted by dchaves on Oct-27-2004 13:16:

They confirmed a Mexico GP for 2006. The race will be in a new circuit in Cancun, which will have the shape of a 'M'.

Posted by Trance Nutter on Oct-28-2004 13:35:

GPWC seems go for 2006 with Mercedes, Ferrari, Renault, BMW.

Another bluff, this time maybe a little more extreme by starting to organise it?
Or serious breakaway?

Posted by fcuk on Oct-30-2004 04:03:

I saw the interview with Ron Walker the Australian chairman of the Melbourne GP saying that it is most unlikely to happen because the FIA and race track chairmen won't give them the liscences to race on tracks which clearly puts most out of the question. Is this all a bluff or can teams really pay and get all the permission they need?

More to come....

as long as Schuma still dominates you all have nothing to talk about

i'm here in the US so i don't follow as much anymore

are the retirement rumors true???
