There's heaps of good ones coming out or in production.. New Scorcese mafia type movie with Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and others..

Also the Silent Hill movie looks good.

Me too I'm hanging for supes.. I'm also hanging for the game iteration.. not because it looks breakingly jaw dropping, but being superman was one of the many things I wanted as a kid.

Apparantly some better movie than shit-ghey Ong Bak with better martial arts, storyline is coming out on dvd but I forgot what its called.

What are some good martial arts/action movies that are out on dvd, if anyone knows?

Might be Tom Yum Goon? also starring the guy from Ong Bak.. its really good, I liked it.

hahaha Tom Yum Goon i dont know if thats the name but this movie is set in medieval times.

Old Jackie Chan movies are funny, especially WHO AM I! hahahaha.

Old Chinese Ghost stories aye.....I have actually seen some movie years ago on SBS and it was some Chinese Ghost one, with actors flying and zombies, it was actually pretty scary.

Can't decide from the ads whether it looks crap or good, and the reviews are a bit the same

ok i must admit it is a tad weird and not all realistic but most movies aren't. Of the 8 or so people who i spoke to that also watched the movie no one complained that it was bad, a couple thought it was the best movie this so far this year. Expect plenty monologues with rich words in typical Wachowski Brothers style. Personally i think they went over the top a little with the ending, but on the other hand if you are in the vibe of the movie when you see it, its a spectacular finale.

.. oh and what a pity Portman chages her appearance mid-movie

Now to wait for MI-3 lets hope they don't mess it up as happens to most trilogies.

V for Vendetta's good, but its not as good as you'd expect. Naturally people would amp the movie up, seeing as its the Wachowski Brothers at work..

Its a mediocre storyline with average type action sequences... If anything, they tried a little too hard comparing the movies fictional story with todays widely fuked politics (a'la BUSH).

It's a movie to be watched, not really remembered
