acording to spanish newspaper moratti is planing a big rebuilding project for next season players that are likely to be released, sell or traded Toldo, Vieri, Coco, Fontana, Emre, Córdoba, Mihajlovic, Gamarra, Kily González, Van der Meyde y Julio Cruz.
possible additions Chivu and the Rossi (Roma), Bojinov (Lecce), Gilardino (Parma), Sneijder (Ajax), Malouda (Lyon) Squillaci (Mónaco.
moratti is a bit radical , just get rid of vieri and the team will do better
That article is abviously false. Rebuilding for next season already?? And the targets are completley untrue. Chivu especially, Branca Inters head scout said in La Gazzetta after Roma aquired him that he was a injury in the making.
Also Fontana and Mihajlovic are retiriring after this season anyway.
Anyway, the latest targerts for Inter's winter transfer period seem to be Juan from Leverkusen and Kompany once again. Mancini is also keen on brining Frey back to Inter after this season. It seems that Inter are willing to sacrafice a few youngsters and cash to bring him back. If Inter can get Frey & Komapny it will be quite an achievement, as both players are wanted by some of the best clubs in europe. They need to act quickly to say the least.
Kily has been linked with a move to Lazio over the winter. He will move on a free money but youngster exchange basis. Also Coco is set to make his return in early November, he said that the doctors told him he might not be able to walk again after his latest injury so its good to see him back to health.
There was also a strange article critical of Toldo's preformance this year. Mancini needed to back the player since the article was out of no where. I dont know what this writer is thinking since the score lines would be 4-0 not in Inter's favour if it wasnt for Toldone.
but this might happen in june 05...who know if its true? its just what i saw in the spanish paper...
Damn, if you call yourself Inter fans at least get the team name properly! The full name is FC Internazionale, and not Inter Milan. Calling it Inter Milan makes no more sense than calling i.e. Juventus for Juventus Torino or Sampdoria for Sampdoria Genova.
"Inter Milan alliance" - that's just stupid. Inter and Milan are two different teams goddamnit!
Sorry, but I just had to say this...

uhhh Snooper im pretty sure basically any fan of Inter can back you up on the name being FC Internazional.....the question is whats your point?
In other more important news than the debate on the teams name, Messina's Allessandro Parisi is rumored to be going to Inter, Inter Milan, FC Internazional in the January trnasfer window to give the defence a lil bit of a boost.....as pipe0007 said could Coco be on his way out?

| Originally posted by Snooper That's the english translation, if you look at the original italian text, there's no "Milan" in there. Of course Inter are from Milano, but no italian fan would ever call them Inter Milan, that's something found up by foreign fans most probably. If there's some italian fans in here, I'm sure they can verify what I say. |
Some thoughts of the Nice friendly.
Inter won 1-0 with van der Meyde scoring the winner (YEAH!) and Pasquale was sent off in the process.
Question how do you get sent off in a friendly.
Dino Marino (You got to love that name) played in the friendly and from a report played well.
Coco & C. Zanetti both played more than 45 min which is great news. Forza Inter
Well as we all know the international call-ups brings alot of transfer rumours. The past weekend had a ton of rumours concerning Inter.
Real, Juve, and Inter in a major transfer during Jan. Its an old rumour but was published again yesterday with some changes. Christian Vieri will move to Real Madrid in exchange for Roberto Carlos. R.Carlos has hinted he wanted to end his career in Italy with Inter before. With Vieri joining Real this means Owen or Morientes(more likely) will leave and join Juve who will need a replacement for Trezeguet who eventually will have to have an operation on his shoulder and will be out for months. Chances of this happening are slim to none.
Moratti last night gave an interview to Italian TV and stated that he wanted Totti in black and blue and would do anything in his power to get him some day.(I like it but still probably no chance)
Another Vieri rumour this time to Roma for Montella at the end of the season. Sounds likely but please no!
Finally Vieri to Juve in exchange for Iuliano or Legrottaglie but Inter are unlikely to do this due to Juve being top of Serie A.
Thats about it will be plenty of Vieri stories until he starts scoring or Moratti says he is staying or until he is finally transfered.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA VIERI TO REAL MADRID ?????
AHAHAHAHAHA PLEASE TRANSFER HIM , NOT ONLY REAL MADRID WILL SINK , BUT VIERI IS GONNA BE THERE TO MAKE THINGS WORSE
VIERIIIIIII REAL MADRID ahahahahahhhhhhhahahaaaaaahahaha
Even though I consider myself a Vieri fan a move to Real for Roberto Carlos wouldn't be a bad move....it would take the Vieri scape goating for everything away and give us a great player in Carlos....I would also love to see Totti in the black and blue but I just dont ever see that happening, its just like how Inter wanted to get Wayne Rooney makes Moratti look good and he can blame the player if he doesnt come for being greedy
The thing about Moratti is that he is ambitious as much as Abramovich is at Chelsea. He wants Inter to win a scudetto at any cost. Previous years has just seen him spend for crap players. Now with Fachetti in charge of transfers it balances out. He has the money to spend but now he is spending it wisely. Although the transfer of Cannavaro was stupid so Im doubting Fachetti currently since you sell a defender to a rival at the deadline with no alternative set up.
Tott unlikely.
Vieri likely to move to a Rome club.
Juan or Kompany will come to Inter only if the clubs they currently are on are out of Europe.
Roberto Carlos will eventually come here he has stated this more times than Bush has stated Weapons of Mass Destruciton.
Coco returned to the Primavera squad to play in a match. Good to hear and see him back.
Inter 3 - 1 Udinese
Adriano double & Vieri goal.
Impressed and relieved that Vieri scored. But really we had to had this win and look to the future. We have Valencia and the big derby against Milan as our next to matches. Really worried.

please sell him to real madrid
Ben what do you think of this Robert Huth guy from chelsea who might go to Inter.
I think he would be a good addition hes young but Chelsea might want a clause in if they sell him to Inter, Inter has to give up there persuit of Kompany. I would really like to see Huth and Kompany in black and blue!
