Barcelona paid the price for their horrifying defending in the first half hour- something that even the magic of Ronaldinho could'nt overcome on the night.
Having said that, Chelsea's last goal shouldn't have counted for a clear foul that the linesman signalled.
All in all, great game. This is what the Champions league is all about. My man of the match was Joe Cole- really laid it into Barca the whole game and could have been on the scoresheet twice.
And that Cech save off of Puyol's header was out of this world. I thought that bullet header had surely gone in.
What a great match yesterday! 2 bad Chelsea won the match... But they were far more effective as Chelsea.
But again the match proved to be that Rijkaard is a great coach!
i hate to admit it but Rijkaard still needs to learn a lot of things in coaching ... i hate mourinho but he was smarter yesterday

Hate em too, but he was not at all negative about Barcelona during the press conference afterwards. Made me hate him a bit less...
Mourinho praised Barca, reminding the media: "I was four years at the club and they were very important times in my life. My daughter was born in Barcelona. Aaah, sweet!! Didnt know the result yet, nice to see Giuly score, would have liked to see him play against Chelsea too, or was he injured? I'm not saying it would have made a big difference but I just kinda like his style.
