I did another proggy one, but deemed that it wasn't trancey enough. I'm only unhappy with one mix and that Hurricane.

No, Though I must admit that I'm not one of them, there are alot of people who actually buy mp3 from the net. If you're spinning with final scratch in a club for example, you'd better have legal copy's!

and on a side note, why would we be hypocritical, if its TA thats anti-filesharing? We're merely using this forum, we did not create it, nor do we post vinyl rips.

But I guess there could be a major discussion abt this kind of matter...just not in this thread

OKay...i have some bad news i made a set, but i cant upload it. cant connect to FTP from my computer. dont know what the problem right now, but i dont have time to fix it till the end of the year that is 24h from now.

i'm very very sorry that i cant compete this time.
i hope to be here at the next competition.

I buy vinyls as well as I download music. TA's filesharing policy only states that ur not allowed to tell anyone where to get mp3's from or to post them here, doesn't it? In that case I don't really see anything wrong with this. Its not like we're going to get a huge name playing illegally downloaded mp3's anyway.

Hi all,
A bizarre thing happened four weeks ago or so. My college shut down access to the tranceaddict website, but left open access to everywhere else on the internet. As such, I wasn't sure if the website had disappeared or what, so I wrote off the mix competition. However, when I arrived home from break, I discovered that it was still up and running. I threw together a mix at the last minute. I hope it turned out semi-decent.

Download them as soon as they are uploaded, plonk em on MP3 for the car/van and away I go. Judge whilst on the move

Then at home, scrutinise and pick apart the mixes for actual quality / effectiveness and levels.

Then mark up and send to you

WOW, just done a total up - Top 6 sets are all within 5 points of each other as a total!!!!

I knew it was going to be close
