in first year my roomie forgot to take our fish, Chad, home over chirstmas break and left it by the open window in our res. Chad was a fish-sicle when we got back in january

then in second year, i left the fish i got to replace chad, finnigan, with my roomies who were frat boys, and they funneled him during a party. goddamn frat boys....

now i stay away from fish.

It's definetly not easy, especially this time of year.
It was only less than a week ago she intentionally [yes, intentionally - She wasn't well trained as some of you on this board know, hahaha] tried to trip me in order to try to get me to drop a sandwich.

One of the heart-wrenching ironies is that when I took her for what would have been her final walk last night, she skipped ahead and stopped at the side of the road.. And waited for me - Something we've been training her for quite a while to do but only happened that one time.

Sounds like she was well trained to be able to trip you to drop a sandwich. I truly am so very sorry for you. My dog was 16 when she died and I thought we, as a family, would never get over it. I am not sure that we truly have.
