Re: Where's our TRANCE?!

| Originally posted by ALeavitt Ok, Ferry Corsten was amazing, Eddie Halliwell was pretty sick too, but what good trance events are happening between now and Blueshift 2? It just seems like there are so many house and D&B parties, and so little with trance. And while I'm in a complaining mood, where are the good raves? I realize it's just the beginning of May, but I'm getting impatient! |
If this number mess is still going on, I'd like to be lucky #13 please.
Ferry at the Quest was flat out sick! The energy there was out of control.
I stand corrected... Mossey will indeed rock, and now I've gotten word that Richard Humpty Vission, James Zabiela, and (thank you god) Gabriel & Dresden are coming this summer, among others. It looks like this summer might just kick ass.
Gabriel & Dresden are comin up!!! can't wait

Where's the man??
Gabriel & Dresden will be amazing for sure! But what happened to Armin?? His show in August 2003 was quite possible the best I've ever seen. Now he's skipping us. He needs to ask Ferry where the best fans are!! I guess maybe I'll have to go to Chicago to see him again. Oh well.
By the way, since I haven't really been keeping up on this forum lately, what's the story with the t-shirts? I wouldn't mind having my #11 shirt sometime!
Talk to you guys soon
Jeff
lmao
accidentally clicked on the wrong link in jumping forums and ended up here....but i see there is a "Minnesota Trance Addicts Unite" thread.
lmao
sorry, but does no one else see the humor in that?
I didn't even know people in Minnesota existed

Funny, I didn't know that people in Georgia could read. I guess we each learned something today.

What??
Come on man! Nothing personal, but honestly who doesn't know that Minneapolis is one of the richest areas for the arts in the whole country? Musically speaking, where do you think Bob Dylan's career began? How about Prince? Where do you think he's from? Ever heard of Terry Lewis or Jimmy Jam Harris? Anyway, there are great musicians and great fans from every part of the world, big or small. Everyone deserves good music without being insulted by stereotypes. Well, I best be puttin' on my overalls and get back to working in the fields. Peace.

P.S. Where are you from anyway? Puerto Rico? I was as confused as anyone by the ATL thing.

G&D = June 10th
and
Zabiela = July 6th

So I just got the Sound in Motion newsletter thing, and in addition to G&D and Zabiela, who will kick ass, there's also something called "Heaven & Hell" at the Rave in Wisconsin on July 8. Accompanying it is a picture of everyone's favorite drunken punching bag, Oakie. Anyone know anything about this show? I haven't heard anything about it, and I can't really find anything either.
hmmm, looks like oakenfold will be back in minneapolis... august 7th... i went to his show with sandra collins last august/september... was a pretty fun night
Is he touring with anyone worthwhile? I hate to be hypercritical, but Oakenfold wasn't so hot that night, while Sandra Collins was just INSAAAAAAAAANE. Oakie was trainwrecking like mad, getting booed... Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely be in attendance, but I'd be a lot more pumped if some more names were on the ticket.

Ah... that would be my problem, then. I ended up going with a bunch of friends who were like, "Oakenfold? He did Bunkka, right? And that Madonna remix! We're coming with you!"
*smacks forehead*
Oh, and I forgot to mention... they're also a bit prudish when it comes to the... errm... proper enjoyment of a good show. Hell, they started ragging on me when I was on my second drink. NEVER AGAIN! *shakes fist*
Anything else going on late June or in July? I'll be back to the frozen tundra mid-June or so.
Hooray, my ban is over. I am back bitches.
