would it be better to have a protein drink/shake before or after the workout. i'm such a noob to this.
that bodybuilding.com has a lot of pics of how to do some of the exercises mentioned. thanx to whoever posted it.
if i run into one i still can't figure out, will someone post pics.

One thing: If you're looking to gain and thus mixing your whey with milk, drink it before working out because the milk slows down absorption. However, if it's just mixed with water, drink it immediately after working out.

@orbax: just read what you wrote many pages back about how much fat% you need to have before you get good abs.. it really depends on your abs.. doesn't need to be 9 or less
the guy i i'm working out with when doing legs, competed in the norwegian championship in body/athletic fitness (ending up 3rd) with a fat% around 12
(though he got massive abs)-look yourself - to the right

had legs yesterday - maxed his personal twice in barbell squats hehe, first a 3x220kg, then a 3x240
(ps - the pic is from october, since then his legs have got much bigger)
since me right knee is a bit strange these days, i didn't want to try to max yesterday.. so only deep squats 4x150kg - though, 3x180kg in hacklift squats (with knees together, so you can feel your outer quads get ripped apart, felt good 
two more weeks to toning/deff begins

wow those guys dont look very heavy at all perhaps around 135 - 160 pounds id say
and they also dont look like their juiced up.. this is an all natural body building competitoni i take it

i had a buddy back in college that would inject himself with insulin to help get bigger. he said it wasnt safe but he wanted to get bigger and he ended up getting massive real quick. does anyone know the principle behind this?

i was exaggerating so people would try to lose some fat
point taken though. Considering the average male in america has like 22% fat burnin some off couldnt hurt

@Nrg2Nfinit: it was NC in atlethic fitness/body fitness. my friend was about 165-170lbs at that pic, though it's all mainly muscles heh :P
but as some other said here, the pic lie a bit, cause when you stand next to him, he's fucking huge (though not as those oversized stereoid freaks) - in my eyes, huge enough to haven't used anything illegal. it's a matter of taste.. some ppl wants to be huge as fuck, while other just want to be huge, but still not too huge
