Just to show you ignorant most Americans are to EDM and are followers....

Go see Tiesto at Crobar in NYC and u cant move..place is so packed that if u farted you would knock 14 people down to the floor...

Go see Sander Kleinenberg at Crobar in NYC the SAME month and you can do windmills in the middle of the dance floor...

Go figure......

Posted by dartrance on Apr-07-2005 17:37:

Well of course thats a given.

Tiesto has never been bigger popularity wise. Any club he comes to you have to deal with the over crowdedness, its always been that way with him.

August? I'll prolly be over in Holland for Dance Valley, but I might not seeing as you cant leave the site and need to camp over the friday night, lol

Sensation does indeed look awesome!!

But ETN is online.

Let's be honest. Normal people don't listen to music on the internet The people that do ( me included) are music nerds.

Do you have EDM FM stations in your area??

How many rap FM stations do you have???

I bet you have more Rap FM stations than dance. ( as is the case in Chicago)

Thus the reason why rap is popular in mainstream.

But why is he popular NOW in America when he worse today then when he was in 2000 or 2001 when he was in NYC?

It's because NY kids heard him on the radio a million times, he won that retard award and he is anywhere and everywhere. These are the same kids who swore Jonathan Peters was the end all be all of DJs to come to NYC.

Krysta hates candy ravers....fuck i hate sheep.

I never said etn was actual radio... radio. And yes, we have many more rap stations than dance stations. The only dance music played on regular radio around here is the two hour show they do on Saturday nights on 95.5 The Beat with local EDM djs, none of which are any good really.

Or if you ask a pretentious NYC self-proclaimed "oldschool" clubber about Lord Michael, Lenny Dee, Anthony Acid, Future Shock, and stormrave, he'll look at you like you're growing horns.

As for the chick who started the thread, she's pretty hot. The lighting on the pic is pretty bad though. I found a better one:

LOL, good job on changing from 'hehe' to 'haha'

My thoughts on this are who cares.

You're so worried about what other people are doing but those people who "chew on their glowsticks" and "shout plur" are probably having a lot more fun than you are considering you just stand there and ridicule them as they dance and have a good time.

That's a pretty sad argument considering it can be brought up about any type of music or almost anything in general. The way people dress or act to go to a club and enjoy a certain type music is none of your business.

Stop being so anal and enjoy yourself.

Thank you, once again, dearest trance addict. You have been the outlet for my boredom whilst sifting through the deluge at work. Not many other sites are capable of doing this.

+infinity.

Lemme put it to you like this... in the Western hemisphere, dance music shut down right along with Studio 54.

Posted by Floorfiller on Apr-07-2005 17:52:

Chill out room seems more suited towards me. Too many people feel like virutally maiming one another here. Eh well, still provides a high level of entertainment.

There's a lot of virtual maiming going on in the COR as well, but there's a bit less spite in it.

Just don't post a picture of yourself there. I'm warning you for your own well being.
