I think the main reason why people dislike this CD is because of the big dissapointment when it comes to the tunes PVD put on it. He promised like what, 20 tunes? Which never made it to the CD. Where are all the unreleased NU Nrg stuff he plays in his sets which didn't make it here?

paul seems to keep his stuff for his live sets only...

When it become to making a compilation cd, it's not really easy that we tought. The artist can't have all the tracks he wants. All the copyright stuff takes a lot of time and sometime some problems can happen.

I see a lot of people said that the track selection is old. It's a little bit true but we have to make attention, all TA crew are people who know well music and are really inform in the lastest release and all kind of information, but how much people around the world that love music and don't even know one track of the POD2?? Also, sometime, djs don't want to burn the hype of a new track unreleased by putting it on a compilation, espacially PVD. PVD likes to be exclusive in his track selection. For example, looks how much time it takes to release his rmx of Kuffdam Summerdream.....

It's normal to see that people like the cd and some don't. I respect both opinions.

you judge about a cd, without listening it, and say something about the flow..

you say, you know all tracks.. okay, but ALL tracks are edits, the ones with more changes are listed below as rewors and remixes.. I can't imagine, that you have heard many of these tracks in a changed form, and don't say cause your friends don't like it, it MUST be shit, cause many people do, and you should listen to it by yourself, I don't know how someone can say something about a cd otherwise.

Did you try Best Buy? That's where I got my copy.

Posted by WardC on Sep-20-2005 21:05:

TPOD 2 difficult to find around here....

yes, that's where I was, Best Buy, and they said they might not have it for another week. He searched all the other stores in the area and it showed nobody had it now (today 9/20)....

so, I'm listening to the wonderful TPOD1 right now and passing the time on (what was supposed to be) my little TPOD2 CD release party!!

ah well, I'll get me a copy soon enough. LOL, there is already a full-CD rip circulating around LimeWire, but it's a promo at that.

Wishing everyone a wonderful PVDay!

peace,
Ward

TPOD1 is exactly alike.

As for my opinion, I think it's a fairly good trance compilation. Nothing more.

Gerry Cueto brought this up. He said PvD has a policy not to name the remix. I kinda like it. I think it looks bit more professional to just name the track. The remixers get credit inside.

PvD also claims he really reworked these tracks, which I can't see. But if that is the case, listing the mix or edit wouldn't make sense.

I hate to burst your bubble but I think most everybody on this thread had the CD a couple weeks ago. It's been on a number of torrent sites for a while now. Welcome to the internet.

Whenever you order a pre-release CD from Amazon or buy.com they ship it before the release date to ensure you get it on the release date. So today when I woke up it was here. If you really want a release the DAY it comes out and it isn't mainstream like Britney Spear, etc, Amazon and buy.com will not disappoint.

Posted by ejoupa on Sep-21-2005 13:32:

oh damn...what a shit cd...pvd shud really catch a wakeup...he shudv just slipped ina britney spears song in to go with the other shit on this cd

Well I know he reworked Messages and Lyteo on CD1 for sure... I haven't heard CD2 yet, so I don't know there.

I think its absolutly appalling that he doesnt credit remixers, but thats just me.

The remixers should be glad their names are not appearing on such a poor compilation...

TO PUT IT PLAIN AND LIGHTLY!!!

I LIKE IT AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!!!

That is such a misleading statement. If you buy the cd and open the book up, it clearly states if and who did the original remix production.

Posted by Phortastic on Sep-22-2005 14:43:

it should be on the back cover imo... thats only fair.

i agree, i'm sure pvd wouldn't be too happy if a dj didn't state that it was a pvd remix on the back cover

Thats what I meant BTW. Fair enough, its inside, but it should be listed outside too.

Its like going into a shop and buying a cake. About half the ingredients are listed outside, but theres a little booklet inside with the whole list obscurely printed there.

I wonder if Paul can LEGALLY do this. I presume so, but wouldnt there be cause for complaint somewhere?

Posted by CGRumler on Sep-22-2005 17:57:

Going slightly off topic: Anyone have any links as to where I can get the pictures that are inside the insert booklet off of the Internet?
