I know I told everyone to check out the Skybar at the end of the night, and you were probably all wondering where I was.

Katy said to someone, "If Graham isn't up here, just imagine how good it must be downstairs." She hit the nail right on the head.

Deep Dish kinda' sucked up until about 5.00am, but as we all know, the Dish works their magic at the end of the night... and boy did they ever. That was some of the hardest, nastiest, tripped out house music I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. I have never heard, and will never find 75% of the songs they played after 5am. Ali & Sharam, you guys have proven once again that when it comes to the morning, you guys are the best.

Totally true, I missed Ali's part of the set but Sharam laid some crazy ass, mind-numbing, soul-breaking, legs shattering beats that I've never heard that early into the morning.

CRAZZZZYYYYYY!!!!

I was the one in the "I'm not Gay... but I'd boink Armin" t-shirt. it was an absolute amazing night. Went to see Armin in Montreal for Swirl-- his set wasn't as good, but it was Armin, so still better then anything I ever heard. When he dropped Cherry Blossom, he damn near dropped me.

Blank and Jones were really cool, played some amazing tracks-- and yea, the Mr. Brightside mix tore it down. It was cool seeing Sean and getting him a happy b-day rev and partying till 8 a.m. hope to meet more of you the next time around...

Glad you finally signed up Dave We will party hard in 2 weeks

Uber-comment by Graham (made while Sharam and Ali were switching up):

"Sharam sure played hard, but I have a feeling Ali is going to play scary."

(or someting to that effect)

Can my review still count if I never actually got into the club?

To my complete dismay after waiting for 2 hours in line Jon Jon made an executive decision to sell out tickets!

I am still so sad I never got to go and even more sad when I read these reviews! Well its good to know that everyone seemed to have a great time. I just wish I couldve been there with all of you! I wanted o badly to dance my ass off!

Until next time mes amis!

So after 20 pages I finally made it around to giving my review. Wow. Great music. I was so impressed with Markus Schulz set. When I first walked in he was playing Language. I love that song. Sorry to all the people that liked Gray Area, but I hated them. I was plugging my ears, then I had to leave. I thought they were horrible. Loved Blank and Jones, and of course loved Armin. Had so much fun with the TA's. I was really sad that I didn't get to sing Without you Near with Johnny. But there's always next time. Had SUCH a great time with Danielle (dnmr) and Carney. You guys are awesome. Two of the most down to earth people I know. Thanks again for letting us come over, just to chill out before the threee hour drive home. I swear TA's make the night! Barry, you rock. Loved singing the vocal tunes with ya!

I wish I coudld pick a tune of the night. But I can't. Too many to list.

I rarely write reviews, but this time I have to say something. I have been to many Guvernment events in the past couple of years, and have had a good time. I will admit that the music AVB played was amazing again. Deep Dish was a little bit of a dissapointment, but I cannot say that the music sucked.
Now back to the begining. I arrived a bit late, 11:30, and was expecting a line up. However, unlike in the past, the line moved veeeerrrryyyy slow. After standing in the line for about an hour and fifteen minutes, with another half an hour to go before getting to the door, I decided to take off to a different club, and salvage the hour of drinking time I had left. I am very dissapointed that the ticketholders had to wait so long before getting in. It almost ruined my night. So after partying at a different club, I came back to the Guvernment to salvage whatever remaining party time I had left. So I stood in line for half an hour at 3 am. I understand that the place was full, but again I had to wait. And there were only about 50 people in line at this time, all holding tickets. Unfortunately, at this time I missed seeing Digweed, and Marcus Schultz, the two main reasons I bought the ticket in the first place. AVB kind of made it worth coming back at 3, but I dont think I would do that again.
I was surprised that both the Kool Haus, and Guvernment were both full even at 7 am, when I left. Opening the back garage doors at the Kool Haus was a welcoming relief from the humidity inside the place.
So even thought the music is exellent, the overall experience of waiting for over an hour, along with no room to move inside, makes me not want to go to another Guvernment special all access event.

Re: Re: I think my ears were broken...

EVIL 9 ROCKED MY ASS!!!!! As a matter of fact the orange room pretty much rocked my ass for 7 of the 9 hours I was there.

I really had an amazing time even though I was tired as hell and still pretty ill. It's amazing what WIKkID tunes can do to a person.
(amongst other things)...

I managed to hear Digweed in the comfort of the stairs on the patio where I actually had some room to dance around, and I did also see some of Demi on the skybar, but thats pretty much it other than everyone in the orange room. Armin only got about half hour of my time, and that was only cause I was walking through the Koolhaus a couple of times.(not that I don't like him I've seen him a few times already) I do wish I got to hear some of the end of Deep dish's set but by that time my body was cursing me and they will be back I'm sure of it...

I thought the music at this years LOL was incredible, the best I've heard at guv!

Markus Schulz who I had never seen before really impressed me, and Blank and Jones continued to light it up as they have everytime I've seen them.

I thought Armin's set was one of the best I had ever heard from him, if not the best.
The track of the night for me was definately Mathew Dekay-Digifruitella, it was so great to hear it on a big system!
That was only slightly better than summerdream(pvd remix) which I am totally loving right now and have had stuck in my head ever since he played it.

The night had other elements of it that were great as well. So many TA's and great people everywhere, and the lights behind the dj in the kool haus were great.

Party of the year for me!

If there was a live video stream of the night are there copies of the sets anywhere?
