from an English point of view i'm quite happy, hope to avoid Germany in the 2nd round though. We should win our group, then beat Poland to reach the Q/F where it looks like we'd have one of Portugal, Mexico, Holland or Argentina so hopefully keep away from Brazil, France and Germany.

Togo doesn't count, lets drop them from the group already. The remaining teams make for another interesting mix of talents. France is one hell of a team, but they're risking to become just another bunch of old farts, they don't seem like a really solid favourite. Switzerland and South Korea are 2 identical teams but without great hopes of going very far in the competition. Prediction: 1st France, 2nd South Korea, 3rd Switzerland.

England got a pretty fair group...the Germans' group is way too easy given the shit form they've had the last couple years.

Group C and E not so nice, especially the latter. The Yanks will have a tough time I think.

So depending on how things go, England could face Brazil in the semis or final but no earlier? I don't want to play those buggers again....save it for the final at least.
