That was one of the best parties that I have ever had the pleasure of attending. It had the perfect ingredients:

Packed out venue

Awesome DJs

AND PAPPA!!!!
Arrived at around 10.30, Paulie and Lister certainly had things happening. Rollin Connection played the best damn set I have ever heard from them (I've seen quite a few) and I couldnt stop dancing.
I had never seen Anthony Pappa before and to be honest had never even heard a set of his, only mixed CD's. I was amazed at the tunes and his flawless "in key" mixing. Was such a lovely guy happy to sign CDs and get pics taken.
Dean and Kev work so well together, was a slightly different sound to what I am used to but it was still superb
TA's took up a lot of room on the dancefloor! So awesome to see everyone out and about together! You guys rock
Hopefully after having such a ball on Monday night I will see more of your faces at Darkbeat & Private Function

ha ha paulie! off chops!
Ok well...
Ive finally mustered up enuff energy and brain power to write this
I HAD THE BEST NITE IVE HAD IN AGESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Musically the nite was absolute bliss, loved opening up the nite and warming the crowd up with a taste of what was to come, got a bit carried away with the mixer from time to time but oh wellz. Rollin Connection were awesome, they had the crowd jamming and was a perfect way for pappa to enter the fray.
Anthony Pappa had me speechless from go to wo, he is by far the best mixer in the world, seemless clean mixes time after time, and his track selection was so up front, i havent heard many of the tunes he played.
Shiloh - Dream on (Luke Chable Remix) FTW, by far the highlight of the nite, farkkkk what a hugeeeeeeeee tune. Then after pappa came dean and kev, and they were awesome playing so late at nite after a set like anthony pappa played was ganna be hard but they were brilliant, deans mixing was as tite as a 16 YEAR OLD VIETNAMESE GIRL.
Big ups to the PF boys and DB boiz, one of the best nites of the year, and it just goes to show Prog is not dead
PS: Scotty Bateman, will u plz convert to playing tech rather than trance, the recovery was awesome, back at scotties listening to scotty play some wicked tech along with Gerry and Munty nikko, who was even more twisted than deans tunes.
PPSS: Philby nice pic and nice caption smart ass LOL
Now i try and dare someone to top that nite
Musically, crowdwise and venue 100/10

yeh i was pretty fkn useless as gerry put it on several occasions. i thought id get up and get level headed...all i managed to do was mix one track before my useless self was back on the couch.
thanks for being my bitch g
scotty had the tek thumping and paulie couldnt stop smoking.
the night was pretty perfect. lister and paulie got things going and rollin connection backed them up well after that. pappa was awesome. hadnt seen him before but knew he wouldnt let me down
plenty of variety in his set which i think is missing around melbourne. genre whoring can work if u do it properly
bug thumbs up to the boys involved in running the night...an up for it crowd and a kick ass system
have i mentioned how good this night was?

tried pulling off the matrix moves but it wasn't the same without teflon teapot...
also vi was missed it seems hehehehe
im scared if this thread goes away my memory of the night will dissapear

The night was recorded from 12.30ish onwards (when our recorder arrived). Currently getting it sorted and getting it across to Pappa for approval

he approved the livewire one, so all should be good for a Melbourne release as well, fingers crossed.
fantastic night - thanks to steve, dean and pf crew for all their hard work in getting this night sorted - all the dj's were on point all night especially during the techy sections
