The descent is pretty amazing you almost forget how bad the acting is because it's really scary and the special effects are great.

You really need to see all of them or you'll probably get confused. I've seen all of them twice and still had to think real hard about which movie each scene was referencing.

Total hilarity! And both funny for different reasons. The first one just because of it's general 80's cheapness. Pink zombie with neon hair? Sure, why not

I's got some great lines too
kid: "Why do you eat brains?"
detained zombie: "because it stops the pain.."
kid: "what?"
zombie: "the pain of death... i can feel myself ROT!"

It's the first time in a zombie movie I ever heard a decent explanation for killing and eating people.

Plus, Tarman is probably the best zombie ever.

And ROTLD 5 well... Julie was just nuts for no particular reason, and the boyfriend who loved her no matter how many people she ate was fucking hilarious as well

Also there's a homeless black guy in the movie that gets abused throughout the movie (beaten with a metal pipe, shot) for no reason, but never dies i don't think lol. Now I wanna watch both movies. laugh. riots.

oooh man, the screaming from this movie was sooo taunting and scary- it kept playing over n over in my head. def, one of the scariest movie i remember from back in the day

Dracula by Coppola is another one.
also Hellsing (anime) was top quality work.

check out "Let the Right One In"

I don't know if I'm ready to declare it as the best vampire movie ever...but right its up there. Its on par with (although completely different) to "Fright Night"

some scenes were iffy, and maybe not necessary O_o
but i'm used to European cinema, so i got over it.

glad i saw the original version
before they are done with the american remake.
Matt Reeves is the muppet who is going to make it
"very accessible to a wider audience" JA!!

still not sure if this is the best... Vamp story ever. in my top 5 definitely!

i liked Hellsing a lot because Alucard was a complete badass. They don't make them like that anymore. plot was ok, kind of leaves you hanging in the end. The OVAs have been a let down so far. Will probably just pick up the manga.

Hellsing Ultimate (the ova)is dope as much as i hate dubbing i actually loved the voice overs an the dialogue had me rolling

Dracula is a great movie,
fright night reminds me a lot like disturbia
buffy is actually funny so it gets my vote

van hellsing sucked a big fat one
