lol, well, this is true.

but i didnt have TOO much to drink
plus, when ur in the middle of a HYPE crowd and everyones into it, and the music is this pumpin... mixing is the least of anyones worries

shame on any of you that were not present for Crystal Method @ Guv 10 year, SHAME! Its breaks sacrilege.

It was great times. Pretty good tunes overall... there were a few iffy spots but in total an 8/10 set. CM had amazing yet very odd crowd interaction. They were bouncing off the walls (literally) and at one point Scott Kirkland jumped the stage and started partying with the crowd while Ken Jordan was djing. lol

meh, i'll wait for the next focus event.

a few people here said their last appearance in Toronto was 'meh' though, yeah?

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Oct-17-2006 22:03:

Yah, their sets that I download are ALWAYS solid. We need them back in TO soon.

Posted by LKD on Oct-17-2006 22:08:

they DO NOT play the same here in TO. we even told them to play the way they always do but noooooooooooo "we only play our best at fabrik"

all the TAs that went literally sat during their whole set

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Oct-17-2006 22:13:

WTF? Does it take more effort to play better records? Why would you purposely make your sets worse than they could be? That's retarded.

dont ask...despite reminding them that people that went to that gig went to hear them as they know them to usually play, they just HAD to play different....

another case of the promoter mentionining "well here in toronto we usually listen to blah blah and blah" and the dj sticking to that...

anyway...i told dom afterwards they sucked...said hes not talking to me anymore...lol...

i havent heard that term in a while...

its hard to find good florida breaks anymore...

Posted by Shug on Oct-25-2006 16:46:

Hah, because Florida is a dead genre, like Big Beat. And in Toronto especially. However, that doesn't mean that it stops sounding good to me.... much like Big Beat, in fact. :P

I figured I would bring it up because the board is called Tranceaddict, and there was always a lot of crossover between Florida and certain types of trance.
