I have decided after the weekends festivities that I may like this stuff a bit more than I realized. Still cant dance to it, though

Veterans, now is the time to teach the DnB noob.

Ok, I listened to the whole set m2j posted. It was all right. About 10 or so tunes I liked, the rest were rather forgettable. Couple of comments:

- Buddy should know his music better. Waay too many mistakes when he's announcing.
- Sparfunk - Pleasuredome is off the hook though

in terms of mixing, dnb hands down is better with that dj's layer their tracks with 2-3-4 playing at a time and surprise the crowd by playing a track then switching to another track in middle of track then goes back to original track, stuff like that trance dj's dont do. Trance dj's most of them (excluding Mark EG) just play a track to the very end and then start mixing the next track, very predictable and gets boring fast, the only thing keeping me dancing is the quality of the tracks itself.

Who has the pics of the massive Metalheadz party in Russia? The one where it's a stadium, the stage is a huge UFO and the crowd was beamed with lots of red lights.

I would seriously LOVE to go to Russia and experience a massive DnB party at Krasnaya Ploshchad or whatever it's called (Red Square).

whenever I go back to Russia, that's definitely one of the few things I'm checking out. I had no idea DNB had such a following in the motherland. I wonder if I would have discovered it had I never left for Canada.

Posted by m2j on Jun-02-2007 20:08:

Breaks Arena is also hosted in Russia.

TOTA Trip to Russia anyone?

I'm coming with you. I don't think that I can get by there on my own with my limited Russian knowlegde.

If I said, "Hooyesos!!! Mne nuzhno travki, baran!" to the wrong person, I would probably get stabbed, shot or raped.
