I'm a little late to post my review..And what i'm gonna say won't be news to any of u..But i'll do it anyway..

Bittersweet night.
Ok so we went there at 10..Just to avoid waiting in line.. But as u know We had to wait for at least 2 hours and a half till those fcukdonuts of bouncers let some souls in..How bamboozling, i'm still pissed.
Anyways..Everyone was loosing it..I actually started to feel dizzy and i was almost gonna faint squeezed there in the middle of angry impatient people in a place full of cigarette smoke and noise..And then it started to rain.. Which was the last fcukin thing we needed.
The idiots finally let us in..Once we got in we had a blast, i thought the sound system was sick...Digweed's set was amazing... Everyone was having fun.. But still...NOOOO DJ and NOOOO club is worth that kind of wait and that kind of treatment (by those freakin bouncers..They should all get fuckin fired ASAP).
I feel so bad for Tag... He came all the way from Ottawa and couldn't get in.
I danced my ass off (which was therapeutic after the freakin mayhem it was to get in)... I chated a bit with Digweed at the end, and he gave me his autograph..which was the freakin highlight of the night).He's an absolute charm..Such a sweetheart
It was a pleasure seeing some TAs. U guys ROCK, and i'm so sorry most of u didn't get in.
I highly doubt i will ever step foot in that place again. Unless i'm fuckin garanteeeeeed that i won't go through that shit again, EVER!.

Doesn't change the fact that i still think those bouncers are assholes and should get fired.

A few things I remembered:
1) as I was dancing there was paint falling off onto my skin = HIGHLY annoying and itchy
2) the big, bald, blue-eyed seemingly head bouncer came out and poured vodka down anyone's throats which imo = what the hell dude?!? put us into your club 1st THEN pour vodka down our throats to say sorry for the wait...not the other way around. I felt as though it was the club's way of telling us to shut up and I totally refused any alcohol that was offered to me outside the club. (Plus isn't that like illegal...and an attention catcher for cops???) Not something I would have told my head bouncer to do under Thursday night's circumstances...
3) Wanna talk about these so-called classy people who were at Tribe? These high-rollers, elites whatever...I walked into the girls' washroom and there were about 4 broads railing blow off the fkn counter...I mean, if you're gonna do it, do it in a fkn stall at least, no?!?!?! VERYYYYYY CLASSSYYYY girls...With the door swinging open every 0.47 seconds, I'm surprised they weren't caught and thrown the fuck out by the big bad mean bouncers who spilled my drink on me.
4) I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SICK I can't breathe properly, I sound like a freakin man when I talk cuz my sinuses are all blocked BAHHHHHHHHH plus I didn't go to class today ANNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDD I couldn't even get my fkn Digweed pics on a CD cuz the damn machine at the photo shop was broken

And near the end when i went to the washroom at least 7 ppl were smoking cigarettes/joints. In the washroom!

Honestly, i don't see why you guys are ven surprised that place has always sucked ass and it always will. I don't care how many rennovations they make or how many big DJs they bring. They will never be shit until they learn that sometimes people in sneakers and jeans have more money in thier pockets than some meat head on fucking setiod wearing a fake ass Aramani suit.

allright...a few days late i agree but with all that bashing on the club i feel like i have to give my 2 cents.

I agree with all of you,the waiting was a pain in the ass.
I guess we have to understand that the club is brand new and fuckups can happen. I am sure they did all they could to fix it as fast as possible...i also think that you guys woudnt have liked it better if we all got in just to stand in a room with no music. But in the end, even if it was expensive and even if i waited an hour outside i had an amazing night drinking and partying with my friends...
and if you ask me, would i wait again an hour to get in that place to spend even more money???

The only time i went to Tribe was when Sander was supposed to make it and got sick ... blah blah blah ... Even though my friend and I got in for free I was still pissed off on having to come down from Sherbrooke by bus and getting there and Sander wasn't even there. One of the promoters saw me and showed me arround and tryed to make my stay as good as it could be (thanks Philippe) even though the dj (Anthon or something like that) had mutiple train wrecks durring the night!! This guy was no Sander thats for sure!! They could have booked a good last min. dj at least some one that could beatmatch

I don't club as much as i used to for personal reasions but i would say that Stereo is doing great things for the scene right now.

Aria back in its glory days (2001-2003/2004) at least the time that i clubbed/worked there did way more for the scene then Tribe ... Aria had at least 2 headliners booked every weekend one on friday and one on saturday sometimes there were up to 3 headliners in one night *memories* i wish that a club like Aria could come back to montreal in full force like back in the day
