that's a 'fundamental law' being wrong in general, what you posted is not an exception to the rule, nor an example of a rule being temporarily broken, it is the new rule.

also, (obviously) it's not currently regarded to be correct. you might as well have said "omg the world is flat. omg it isn't".

and btw, omg where are the leptons!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_matter

A lot of scientists theorize that Dark Matter is the culprit for galaxies appearing to move and swirl in directions that contradict what our current laws (Newton's?) say about gravity. Who knows what else is being defied seeing as how we know so little about the universe...

p.p.s. probably about a decade from now.. hello dark matter, farewell nothing.

nicely played.

I will sit on this side of the chasm. You will sit on the other. My throat it hoarse, i'm out of bristol board, and my magic marker has dried up.

This outcome is acceptable.

okay, being broken, nuclear reactions. breaks the law of conservation of matter.

I heard it's against Mormon belief to get blood transfusions.

Who's the expert on this?

I dunno if it's against Mormon's beliefs, but I know it's against Jehova's Witness' beliefs. BUT, it's not that they won't get blood transfusions, it's that they won't take another person's blood (because the blood is the life, yaddayadda..not 100% sure there, but I think thats why). What they can do is called an autologous transfusion, which is the collection and reinfusion of their OWN blood.

Yeah, the Dark Matter article mentioned all that. Still, how does a proposal for modifying laws put forth in...1981...make something bullshit? I am honestly asking you if you have any substantial counter-evidence to the existence of dark matter, preferably data you have collected yourself. I'm not refuting what you are saying, it's just that the existence of dark matter is more widely accepted among the astronomical community than MOND.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotation_curve

Anyways, the actual point of this was that laws that the scientific community has established as part of the scientific process are needing to be revised to correlate with all the knowledge we ascertain - proof that the scientific process is not an infallible perfection, since it has been created by humans. Admittedley, the scientific process gives way to change much more easily than, say, most religions do, but maybe there is a smilar individual component within them both - different scientific theories could be compared to different denominations of faith, and different religions altogether could be compared to different views on the same topic (see: Zenchowdah "Dark Matter is bullshit" 2006). Seems to me like all comparisons between the two indicate the same supposed fundamental goals and that preference between one or the other is not one based on fact at all, but opinion.

I loled thats so much BS. I laugh at all the Mormon theories and conspiracy's that go around... entertianing at best seriously.
Sadly there are the fundamentalists who arent even part of the church and polygamy its banned from the church. ANyways.. just wanted to bring that up.

without reading all 6 pages, i'm just curious if everyone who isn't a mormon knows the difference between latter day saints and fundamentalist latter day saints? huuuuuuge difference
i got nothing against mormons, met a bunch and they're all incredibly cool
fundamentalist mormons, however, are the weird sect that deals with polygamy and all those crazy things you hear about 'mormons'
