He was mixing the entire time. the venue owned and there was a ton of space to dance and hang out with friends. Drugs???? There's always a lot of drugs at parties so what were you expecting, a Christian rave from Tastyworld? Not trying to whine but come on people, that party was the best show in Atlanta in the last six years and was right on the level of Ritm/S&D on April fools day 2000. A++++ night in my book and I'm so glad my little brother finally got a chance to come and see why I started doing all this in the first place over 8 years ago. Damn I hope Liquified gets there asses back there for a show sooner rather than later. |
I think that was like hands down the best show of 07 and goes down in the books as one of the best of all time. The sets were awesome the energy in that place was insane just being in there sober you felt like you just did a ounce of coke. The sound system was nuts the only thing you can really complain about is the bathrooms and even then they are always going to be pack and shitty thats what happens when you have 5000 people.
GREAT SHOW KICK ASS START FOR THE FALL SEASON LIQUIFIED !

BTW did anyone get a track list for ian james and did you guys record the sets because I would really like to have them.
I think y'all are getting a little too serious over a matter of opinions. I haven't seen but maybe one or two hints of people say they didn't have a good time, just some disappointment. It's human nature to be disappointed if you were looking forward to something that didn't happen. You could have the time of your life out there and still be disappointed that the set was short, the line was too long, the bathrooms sucked, etc. etc. Doesn't mean it was a bad time, but hey... maybe Liquified or whoever and whatever can view our comments and try to make it even better next time, right?
I can't say much on drugs cause I wasn't exactly straight myself, but I actually felt bad for some of the kids I saw. Some of them need to control themselves, but that isn't Liquified, the venue, or Tiesto's fault.
ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAARRR!
agreed remember when you were all
eyed and then you wanted that vickssssssss
oh btw I got your video up on you tube i resized it for yall.

That looked like a pretty good set up. I like the visuals too. The atmosphere looked pretty too. But the jury is still out on Tiesto it appears. The sound quality though for your recording is pretty damn good. In 08, Liquidfied should get Ferry, Markus, and.... I dunno someone else, and throw them all into that building. PVD will work.
the venue was crazy--plenty of space for every one to dance their asses off and great sound. so tiesto didn't play from 1-5, but 1-4 is still "extended" because wetbar/opera stops at 2:30-3am.
liquified needs to get armin or markus at the trade center. now that would the shit.
You guys complaining should have stayed in the back with the druggies if you were so pissed off at all the drunk kids in the crowd. The sound was still pretty damn good from back there.
I can't wait till Above and Beyond, G&D and Sasha... I'll be lucky if I survive October.

what was the average age at this show?
were there older dressed up people or was it all 19-21yos in UFO pants?
Sasha is the man. He'll tear it up. I saw him in Miami last year....... wow. He spun from 3- 6 am then went back on at 7 30 and spun till 9 30. Now that's extended hours.
The demographics of the show was very broad. I'd say the majority of the crowd was cleanly dressed and between the ages 19-24.
This show was amazing! if you missed this show you missed out on life
...hey, and if you happened to come across one of my promotional production CD's handed out, i hope you enjoyed it

Hey, let's bump this
"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting a different response."
Who said that again?
That guy who was sitting in this dark corner repeating that statement.
I was at this show. This was my first "electronic music" show.
I didn't even know what tranceaddict was back then.
Never look back. This road only leads us forward, onward, a more progressive way of thinking. These drugs only help you transcend your most subtle yet powerful capabilities. Gently. It will never be more than you can cope with and it will never come at a time you don't want it nor can't heed it.
Yes, that is your trousers loosening. And yes, yes that is the sky inching closer.
