does anyone know any good ways of getting some absinthe back into the US? my one friend said he mailed home 3 bottles and another friend said he just brought it back with him and customs didnt say shit about it....just wondering any other ideas

Posted by JD8180 on Jan-09-2008 15:59:

i think if you're 21 then it shouldn't be an issue. if you come home with like 30 bottles and it looks like you plan on selling them, then that would be illegal. but if it's just one bottle for your consumption, then if i'm not mistaken, i think you're okay.

correct me if i'm wrong though!

I comeback evertime with 48lbs of different beers and never had any problems, yet back in `97 I almost got arrested for having 3 cuban cigars

So don't bring any cubans and you'll be fine.

Just hope you don't get the "4 SSSS" on your boarding pass or passport, if you do get tagged expect to the "full treatment".
I got that in sept. flying to England.

Set times? Too early?

I heard Ferry has a 3 hour set at Godskitchen @Birmingham the same night, which means we shouldn't expect too long of a set from him. Although I'm disappointed, but I guess there will be enough great DJs to keep us groovin' all night.

I'm starting to get really excited about my first TE!!!

Posted by Chryz707 on Jan-13-2008 09:47:

My thought is that Ferry will close Trance Energy. Its close to the Netherlands, we will see soon enough.

I'm hoping that that is the case, but I am guessing that Ferry will close out Gods with his 3-hour set, given that Amsterdam is 1-hour ahead, he will most likely finish his set at TE earlier in the night and go to Godskitchen afterwards. I would also think that Tiesto would finish up at TE...

thats my logic. tiesto closes TE and either marco or ferry set it up for him. who knows.

Only a month and ten days left!!!

Posted by gimmebeatz on Jan-14-2008 03:33:

i would think tiesto, being the headliner of the event, would be given the headliner spot at 1 or 2am like headliners for events usually are...if u look at the past TE's...last year oakenfold played at 1 and the year b4 armin played at 1 or 2am as well

Posted by hiram on Jan-14-2008 04:14:

i dont think tiesto will be the 2nd or 3rd DJ into the night.
