It looks like revange! Blind Hamilton! Here you can see reason, why most of people dislike him! He is too keen! Stupid hothead! He must learn too much before he could be champion! Well, last time do something similar Kimi, but it was caused by cold tires. Now was Hamilton simply BLIND! Kubica is good boy, he reach great win, it was only question of time. But now is my favourite Kimi after him, 2 races and no point `cause of accident. Okay, there are 3 favorites, you know, Kubica, Massa , Kimi. NOT hothead Hamilton. His stupidity will smash his chances. Now I make angry some people here, I know, but if no one calm him down, he will maybe NEVER be champion!!!

Posted by Trance Nutter on Jun-14-2008 12:47:

far out mate.

Who's the hothead?

Its a mistake plenty of people haev done before, and yes it is a stupid error, especially as McLaren told him the light was red. It wasn't revenge though, he didn't line up Kimi and take him out. Enough with the conspiracy theories

Some people are simply fucking stupid. It's Hamilton's second season for Christ's sake - The lad still has heaps and heaps to learn in this game, just like all those who have come before him had to; and he'll learn all of what he needs by making mistakes, also like all of those who have come before him.

Cretins.

Posted by chorche on Jun-16-2008 18:50:

Everyone make mistakes, even champions, I will tolerate him, but I will no like him! It seems to be conspiracy theory, but it is not. Accident.

Second year in F1, but has been racing since...well the beginning of time? It was most definitely the specific F1+pitlane rules that caught him out.

Although Kubica is leading, it will be short lived. Kimi, Hamilton, and maybe even Massa will be back on top soon. Ferrari and Mclaren are far too fast.

Posted by noikeee on Jun-17-2008 15:57:

The reason people are giving so much shit to Hamilton because of this incident is some of the stuff he said before the race... namely some comment about how all drivers should be careful to look at the lights on the pitlane (there have been some similar incidents in the last couple years at Montreal), and a joke comment after a crash his dad had in a road car, as Hamilton "didn't understand how someone can crash at 30mph". Then he goes on and does the same at the race.

Yeah, it's normal, it's just his second season, but with this attitude of him, and knowing that McLaren are already counting on him as a team leader to challenge for the championship, people don't think of him as a still-learning noob.

Heikki got a 5 place penalty for blocking during qualifying. So he starts in 10.

Another Ferrari 1-2 it is

*yawn*

What a boring race.

MotoGp was much better today even if Stoner walked away from it towards the end. Good racing through the field.

Posted by The_G0dfather on Jun-22-2008 16:59:

didnt watch it but i'm gload Hamilton paid the price today for his actions in Canada

Posted by Txebe on Jun-22-2008 18:26:

horrible Alonso!! Please change team next year

because there were no crashes ?

Lucky Massa grows an advantage in the championship when Kimi hits his better form. :\

Because there wasn't really a race for anything. Kimi's tailpipe coming off cost him time but didn't cost him 2nd. Hamilton was working his way through the field for a bit until his 3rd set of tires where he just resigned himself to his current position at the time. Kubica had a good run but wasn't really challenging the Toyota for 3rd.

Posted by nchs09 on Jun-24-2008 19:19:

Just saw the race.... god was that close at the end when kov. and tru.

The rain at the end made it exiting..... nothing exiting about the ferrari cars, they just dominated completely. Too bad raik. exhaust didnt hurt him more.

David Coulthard has retired, effective as of the end of the year. Will stay with Red Bull Racing as a test and development driver and consultant. Not really surprising, you knew this was coming, he couldn't go forever.

They also extended Mark Webber's contract until the end of next year.

Safest bet in the world says Sebastien Vettel drives an RBR next year.

Following discussions with Formula One Management, the FIA has confirmed that the British Grand Prix will be retained on the Formula One World Championship calendar. And from 2010 the new home of the British Grand Prix will be Donington Park.

Someone from England was telling me a few weeks ago that Bernie would keep the British GP but move it just to screw over the BRDC.

Kinda sad to see another of the 'originals' go, but kinda cool to see Donington back.

British Grand Prix grid

1. KOVALAINEN - McLaren
2. WEBBER - Red Bull
3. RAIKKONEN - Ferrari
4. HAMILTON - McLaren
5. HEIDFELD - BMW
6. ALONSO - Renault
7. PIQUET - Renault
8. VETTEL - Toro Rosso
9. MASSA - Ferrari
10. KUBICA - BMW
11. COULTHARD - Red Bull
12. GLOCK - Toyota
13. BOURDAIS - Toro Rosso
14. TRULLI - Toyota
15. NAKAJIMA - Williams
16. BARRICHELLO - Honda
17. BUTTON - Honda
18. ROSBERG - Williams
19. SUTIL - Force India
20. FISICHELLA - Force India

Outstanding runs for both Kovalainen and Webber, although was sort of hoping Webber would of kept his 1st place pole. He'll be the driver i'll be supporting after DC retires, always enjoyed watching him race.

lol @ hamilton for more mistakes and lol @ massa for coming 9th

Posted by stren on Jul-06-2008 10:43:

massa didn't get a second run because of trouble with changing a tyre

fantastic job from Heikki for sticking it to Lewis on his home turf
well done Webbo !

Posted by pmoisse on Jul-06-2008 13:54:

Great race, even if P1 was a bit of a walk.

The rest of the field was a lottery and the end result showed it.

Posted by Quantized on Jul-06-2008 23:16:

Good race to watch because of the immense amounts of overtaking and racing which you don't see very often. Nice to see only a 2 point difference in the top 4 of the drivers championship ship atm, anyone can win it.

Also, gravel traps are stupid - they don't do their job properly of slowing down cars and just put them out of the race instead. It's crap to see several cars retire just because they cant crawl a few metres back onto the race track from a gravel trap.

Posted by Philby on Jul-07-2008 02:14:

great job qualifying by webber! of course he loses it on the first lap though was coming back pretty good but i guess they made the wrong choice in the pitstop with keeping the older tyres on. pretty good race to watch though! championship looking pretty interesting so far this year!

Posted by nchs09 on Jul-19-2008 19:23:

Mclaren 1st and 3rd

Looking good for tomorrows race.
