How's this for some chillout talk.............. I can't wait for my first WMC.. My first Ultra..... My first time in florida when something worthwile is going on.
I used to come to south florida a couple times a year for vacation, and it was fun. I love South Beach........ but i expect this to be on a whole 'nother level from 'fun'.. and I hope you fellow TAs help transport me from the normal "south beach" atmosphere, to the WMC, crazy, edm lovin party that I am expecting of this week. I wanna meet as many of you as possible... and pick your brains as to what it is like to live in an american dance music mecca like Miami, as opposed to the sterile nightlife environment of the midwest.

Well brotha... I will be on vacation that week & will be partying up at different venues. Hit me up & you can introduce to me whatever TA's you are with & I'll do the same on my end.

we might not get much in this "sterile nightlife environment" but the only REALLY REALLY good time to be in Miami is during WMC..as far as DJs and such. Its nonstop in your face DJs for a whole week...you'll be totally out of body and hear music in your head for days after you leave and its b/c of that lasting impression that life up north in this "sterile nightlife environment" is a bit more managable. Just when you start to forget the events of WMC and resume your normal daily life, a really good DJ will spin into Columbus or Cleveland or Detroit and you can just get by for a little while longer. Its not nearly as intense as being in NYC, LA, or Miami full-time.
Knowing that WMC hangs at the end of a very long winter in Cleveland, I could care less if the sun never comes up and it snows everyday.

To be honest w/ you I was just appointed to be MOD not even a few moths ago or less. So this is actually my first time helping organize this massive PARTY ADVENTURE for ALL of TA.

Having kept up my mafia archive for years, the swedish mafia forums for about a year, and modding axwell's forum... I know more than well how much it SUCKS (especially in the beginning ) getting everything organized. If you ever need help PM me.

I appreciate it & thanks for the kind words, but in reality everyone cooperating is what really is making it so much easier.
I'm easy going & the FL TA's who know me on a personal level can vouch for that.

So thanks to ALL of the TA's for making my first WMC as FL MOD an incredible experience.

Btw I'm unsticking some threads.

Looking back at hits from last year and of course the song This is Miami is a first. I never noticed really but why does the song start off with a this is not miami... and then end with it being miami? Isnt it supposed to start with the first 4 cities cut off and then end with this is miami? The version that has the first 4 cities cut off with miami being the first, then ends with this is not miami.

wow 80$ presale i can only imagine what the price at the door would be. I use to love this guy but he has let his ego get out of control. I guess its not him charging the cover but it is him or his agent asking for so much money to spin. They've been charging this outrageous door price 4 a while 4 Tiesto @ Mansion, whether @ WMC or not. Not really Mansion's fault though, because it was Tiesto that priced himself right outta Space

Thank God we have Armada Night that same night. Half the price, 4 times the DJs, they still play real trance, and afterhours
