Cab is about 30 bucks from Stereo.

thanks.. we paid $25 once to go to that warehouse. I say a taxi receipt should be equivalent to a free bottle of water at this thing, that's how you do good business

From a personal note, if it weren't for the travel itinerary of others, I'd skip this, wait another month and go to a problem-free massive (for once) in this city: Black and Blue.

So what's the deal here, the lineup is sick, but everyone's complaining about the location...........is it that bad?

I'm coming down from Toronto and am torn, Sensation or Global???? I'm more of a house guy but from everyone's comments, this place is a major dive.

Anyone who bought tickets selling theirs? I need 2.

DISCLAIMER: the following is stated as an opinion on a web forum

Pepsi Forum screwed up, a friend told me they couldn't get a liquor license in time and BeB probably wisely said no thanks, it's bad enough tickets are moving slowly for us. Anyone want to drop straight facts here, feel free to chime in..

Expect to pay $$ for cab to and fro your hotel unless you want stay close to this Millennium place, which is close to nothing else.

It doesn't matter to me what happened with the location change or whatever, I just want to know if this place millenium is total crap, cause sound and light make it or break it for me. And the fact that the first 500 tickets haven't sold yet with 4 days to go has me thinking that it is.

I'm staying at the Delta, University/St.Antoine, any idea how much a cab ride would be to Millenium from there?

Posted by John_H2O on Aug-27-2008 20:35:

cab ride from there is around 40-45$

maybe more with tips

Well, according to the press release there's supposed to be a Blade Runner theme. That movie was made in 1982.. will we get 1982 sound and light quality too?

It's not total crap but close to it. It all depends on what BeB can/will do with the sound and lighting. The fact that the two venues aren't super huge, I think they can sell out.

I was there, started out slow, it was empty before midnight, too bad, people missed out on ingrosso and angello.

But it filled out pretty quickly after that, loved Knights stuff and morales started pretty solid. Place was rammed and hot. Was way too tired to last beyond 6am, my feet still hurted from quebec's show.

The line up desserved a much better location, people shun on it for that... hopefully no celine dion next year to scrap sensation!

so .... was it awesome, great, normal, crappy or Bull shit?!
