+1, my first though too. hacvent listened it fully yet, but with Marvin Gaye's top track whats going on in the mix ... im already convinced

PS: i have some prins thomas livesets. do they fit in this concept/thread too? dont know much of his sound, but its kinda funky i think, in some way

i think the "space-disco/nu-disco" sort of stuff is the best genre for funky sounds right now.
