Nice video, but perhaps too many close ups of customers' faces? I don't know if everyone would be ok with being seen at a trance club.

Also, if you are planning to use this video for promotional purposes, there may be some legal issues if you show people's faces without getting consent. Just something to keep in mind.

Please bring DJ SCOT PROJECT.
Last time he was at Circus he played an awesome Hard Trance set that everybody loved. That was back in December 2007 if I am not mistaken, RED had brought him.

I still want my dream opening slot with John 00 Fleming in the circus main room, he hasn't done a club in Los Angeles since vangard with CL almost 2 years ago

Do you remember when he played at Henry Fonda for Godskitchen? That was an amazing set. Not to use the word twice in one night... but it was absurd... just sick. Loved it.

I sure do. That was shortly after I had first seen him at Monster Massive, I remember hyping him up to all my friends, and that was the show I took them too for them to see him for their first time.

J00F has actually had a bit of a difficult time really getting a good feel on LA....cause LA doesn't seem to have been feeling him unless they have in the last year.

JOOF has a huge following in LA! The crowd was crazy nuts last time I saw him at Vanguard, and his set rocked!

What about Thomas Bronzwaer? It could be great!

Actually he played at Vanguard last year in July.

Quoting his blog:
"Back on the plane this time I'm back in LA for the huge 'Awakening' event. I wasn't expecting a show this size, it was packed! I was playing alongside my mates Infected Mushroom and the crowd where going crazyseriously crazy. LA is becoming one of the best places in the world for clubs and events. A last minute booking meant that I was hitting another event after this gig, heading for Vanguard. Now this is a club that I love. Last time I was here was with Christopher Lawrence and this night was amazing. I was a little worried because the gig was added last minute and they didn't have much time to advertise, but I was shocked to see a full house. The crowd here really know their music, so I can pretty much do what I want and they follow me. I can play pretty hard too!!"

That's awesome to hear! Maybe the CL+J00F night really helped him out in LA when he played after that. I remember before he started playing at Vanguard, his monthly updates after his LA gigs would generally have him having a so-so time. Even a time I thought was a real good night he was so-so about.

I forgot about that one. He was booked for the kiddy rave by insomniac in SB, last minute they put him on at Vangard to close out the night. It wasnt properly put together so it doesnt count

I think you are quite wrong. He has been killing massives in LA for insomniac for years. He is doing Nocturnal this month. The gigs at Circus for spundae when he used to play 4 hr sets were epic and always busy, the last one with Mauro Picotto was one of my favorite nights at circus ever. I would agree the last couple gigs for RED at arena were sub par shows by his standards, but John has had loyal fans in LA for years

You guys know who I want to see and play with @ Circus. Multiple emails sent yesterday morning to artist and management.

I'm not talking about massives, that's completely different. And yeah, J00F always had a good crowd when I saw him at Circus, but I just remember a monthly update on his site would say how he couldn't find a connection with the crowd and stuff, and I think I saw a post like that after more than one LA visit. It might've not even been from a Circus gig...did he ever play at Arena? Maybe for Heaven? I'm not sure, but I remember having a blast one time and then he said that and was like huh?

If I'm wrong, then awesome. I'm just going by what I recall. This was a long time ago. Either way, glad to see him doing great. Some cities jsut take time to warm up to some DJs. I remember when LA wouldn't go so crazy to Markus Schulz...Markus openly talks about how LA used to scare him but how he loves playing here now, saying how it's hard to impress us because we get to hear so many of the best DJs here.

You know, maybe it is the Red dates I'm thinking of. Why can't I remember!!!!

Either way, what's important is how things are now and if they aer great then awesome!

Maybe you are referring to Red at Arena in May'07? Here's another quote:
"Five days later I was back in LA! There's been many changes here recently with club brands moving to different venues and some changing musical direction. I find myself moving back to my original home of Red at The Venue. I had a great time but didn't feel I played my best. It was if I was learning the crowd again and couldn't 100% work out what music they wanted until the end of the night. I hate it when this happens; you wish you could rewind the clock and start again?? Maybe it was because I was so used to playing for the Spundae crowd? The following night I played to a crowd that I know very well at 1015 in San Francisco. Now this was one hell of a night. From start to finish of my set, there was a powerful sense of occasion for all of us. I hadn't been at the club for a while, so I was really excited to be back there and I could tell they where excited to see me too. This only fuelled the whole event and we where all at one throughout my whole set, dam that atmosphere was electric that night."
