Yeah that first transition was pretty bad. Sounds like something i'd do when if first started learning.

However I really liked both tracks. That heavy bassline combined with those soothing vocals.

Ya, it's for a 79 in a 55. Lawyer is 150, court fee is 120, and lawyer said hopefully what they can reduce the charge to will be another 120 or 150 fine. I'd rather pay to keep a license than make a trip to Atlanta.

Transition was just a game-changer. Wasn't by any means a full fader flip, but you can only do that when you really want to get the crowd's attention and change a mood.

For some reason I am really fucking excited for this.

Also, re: that video...I thought Digweed was using Traktor now?

Nah, It crashed on him and then he realized that he much prefers the CD method. I guess it feels at home to him.

Pfft, I don't think you know the story. When my head was shaved and I had no facial hair everyone thought I was Stimy...Stymy..? I dunno how to spell his name.

Even Phil K walked up to me at WetBAR and gave me a big ass hug. I've had people offer me drinks, etc. It's pretty wild.

Lol. Stimy must be the guy who's always at the controls up in the dj booth at Opera. Don't know if you remember, but I met you after Deadmau5 and now that you say it, you do remind me of that guy.

I know everyone was planning on being here and along with a couple others, it looks like I will be missing out. I have been out of a job for a while and my disposable income is completely gone. Wanted to try to scrape up some money, but was not able to. That sucks too. Even if I'm not the biggest fan of S&D, I was looking forward to the TA get together.

That video made me yearn for a club in Atlanta that has a Funktion One system.

That's the one!

jonnyblaze,

Made by Monkeys - I think of you (Rui da Silva mix)

Posted by Lostvission on Jul-17-2009 00:59:

So you do you guys plan on meeting up before the club somewhere ??

Posted by iammesol on Jul-17-2009 01:02:

I'm just getting in early to avoid the gigantic line that I know is going to be at willcall.

Posted by Seppuku on Jul-17-2009 01:07:

I'm not sure what time I'll get there...hopefully before midnight. I'm pregaming in atlantic station with a large group of people that are going, and right now i'm trying to find out how we're getting to Dreams.

Posted by iammesol on Jul-17-2009 01:14:

For anyone pre-gaming, remember there is going to be TONS of cars and TONS of people in line. The line for Sasha at Opera was literally pointless to wait in last year, and that was JUST for him.

Posted by Seppuku on Jul-17-2009 01:20:

I would like to think that Dreams has their shit together more than Opera. I'll still try to get there as early as I can, gonna start partying at like 6-7.

Posted by iammesol on Jul-17-2009 01:42:

They do, but don't be that optimistic. lol

Posted by Seppuku on Jul-17-2009 01:49:

Any info on set times yet?

Posted by iammesol on Jul-17-2009 02:36:

Just expect Ian to go on at 4 and be happy if he doesn't. I need the sleep anyway.

Posted by enydo on Jul-17-2009 03:14:

Sleep is for the WEAK, Sam.

Posted by Seppuku on Jul-17-2009 03:24:

Yeah, well I just hope they don't pull that 1-4 dubfire bull again.

Posted by trancension on Jul-17-2009 03:39:

im hoping for 5 hours with sasha/diggers closing.

i dont have the energy to do 6 hours anymore! gotten too fat.

Posted by coroknight on Jul-17-2009 03:57:

I hope this is freaking crazy because I know they won't be back for a while.

Posted by enydo on Jul-17-2009 10:24:

Only 8 hours of work to slog through before festivities.
