i know of one place close to me but i will have to inquire about pricage
i think the studio would be a good idea..
in london.. theres loads of them.. but i dunno how willing ppl are to travel to london just for the studio ya know..
see dis is the problem... we need bodies all in one place to get this thin6g off its knees, i'd be willing to spend a week or two in london.. fuck, i'd live there if it wasnt so damn expensive and so damn far from gatecrasher...
man screw the studio... we need to spend less time worrying about all this stuff. we're spending to much time trying to get a studio/vinylcutter/etc and not enough time producing. all this studio stuff will be very unlikely for the moment now anyway.
less talk, more rock (so to speak)
robert
all fine and dandy.. but...
the whole point in this label is to get the producers/dj's on here heard and played... how r we gonna do that without the use of a vinyl cutter?
And u say we need more producing to be done.. on what? pirated versions of reason? hehh thats major league illegal... now normally i wouldnt give a shit but if we want to release stuff its all gotta be kosha unfortunatly
peace
i agree with tuface..
without studio /production capabilities, we're back where we started...
thats the thing we need
who's gonna know what that we made it with an illegal version of reason?? and as far as i can see we don't need a cutter. it's probably cheaper to the stuff cut/pressed for you somewhere.
robert
No one has to know what you use to produce a track... it's your business and your business only...
I'd say the best way to get started is to look for some good trance artists and start to promote them... it could start with just a website and expand from there...
-=myndless.com=-
if u want to look for some studios around the Midlands or London, theres some good ones in DJ magazine if u like I can give u the address and numbers just give me a shout! Count me in for definate I've been really productive at the moment trying to create some trancey basslines, and synths, i've also been trying to create a track with some major breakdowns! All time consuming but I enjoy it!

ok.. lets get things straight here...
1) we aren't using artists from outside TA - reason is that that kinda defeats the idea of the TA label
2) we do need equipment / studio of somesort.. or access to a cutter
3) we need contacts
4) we aren't gonna have anything to do with www.mp3.com
5) thats all i have to say =p
That sounds all cool to me! I've been working on some tracks I made a good track on e jay (I know its really basic) But its good it just needs the synths and breakdowns speeding up
Tell me if you want any addresses for studios in London or the Midlands I've got shit loads of numbers. And so be it I will travel to London to record materialif needed

well let me put it this way. a studio in london or the midlands won't do me any good over here. i think all we need is one or two good track to get this whole thing started...
robert
Yeh, i agree. I think everyones taking this hypothetical (at this stage) label too far. You only have to think.. what is a label and realise all you need is some good music/djs/producers and an audience. Well youve certainly got both but your all going around looking for vinyl cutters and studios which isnt needed really.
You can contract people to do vinyl cutting.
You can do the same for cd's.
You can hire out studios...
or many people have home studios...
but do you really need one ?
I dont know but thats my thoughts of the situation.
Peace... Repect... and *bump*

and trancenation... ill say it again, this what we are talking about is mainly the UK side of the label. Its not up to us in the UK to sort shit out in Holland is it?
Yeh ok.. fair enuf. Just expressin' my mind.
And also hows the website side going ? An progress ? should i do up a layout ? hmmm
thats where u ppl outside the UK can help right now
web design>>> i know lynx was gonna do smethng but if u want o do a layout the go ahead
hehe nah.. its ok..
i'll do the website..sorrie to take liberty in doing so, but i have this in my mind pretty well what to have in the webpage, or at least the layout.. but i want designs.. to buttons.. and banners, etc...
if u could send it me?? via email or icq?
i'd be most grateful
thanks

inferior?
no..
we are just saying that the UK probably has a better base for starting up.. because everyone is accessible within a few hours, unlike the US where contacts are scattered around..
studios and contacts here are around london and probably a few other places around UK.. so it would make things a lot easier... and i personally think, trance is easier to promote in europe than US due to the market
Hmmm better market = yes !
Hey everyone... dont count yemen out of the picture tho... still a very useful country !
