I actually worked with a guy who would cheat on his wife all the time and his wife knew about it but figured "he provides for myself and my children so I don't mind"

I found it weird but hey, at least he was open about being married and having kids to his co workers and friends...his family wasn't a complete blank.

by virtue of all the posts and pictures up, it would've been a no-brainer for all that know them on here and it was inevitable for names to come out.

Fair enough but that's not dishonesty, she knew about it. It probably opened things up for her to do as she wanted as well.

my point is the second paragraph which I think people are more upset about.

being secretive about such a major aspect of your life and not slipping for all these years will make anyone lose trust in said person and consequently anger them.

if you call someone 'friend', you can't hide something like that.

That would be the best. I bet it would be a good one too, lol.

In all honesty I would probably leave my wife if I ever found out she was cheating on me but that is not the real issue here. Somebody else doesn't have the right to make the decision of whether or not I want to know for me.

It would be hard to believe that you wouldn't think something was up if something like this was going on for such a long period of time. If I even had the slightest suspicion that something was up I would have to make the decision that either

a) approach my wife and ask her point blank what is going on and decide what I want to do after talking to her

or

b) just pretend I don't think something is going on and live in denial, which most likely would cause the marriage to fall apart anyhow

Yah. It was her sister. Lindz called her after to apologize...

What bothers me is people saying how they found him creepy, or that he'd creep on their friends - NOW you're mentioning?! If you had a problem with his behaviour, you should have stopped talking to him then, or said something THEN
you're fucking adding an insult to an injury
Sarah is 100% right - what a bunch of fucking retards and gossipers. I'm losing respect for majority of you as I type.

I didn't think you could loose any more respect for me

I did keep my distance. All the girls who felt that way, I advised to do the same and they did.

Adding details like this are so unnecessary. Honestly, what compels you to keep adding fuel to the fire? Aren't you like, 40?

I felt bad for him because, well, he was a crazy old man talking to birds whilst sitting in his own shit... until one day I watched a little closer and realized that he was really happy. To him, everything was great. Now I could have said "hey, you're a crazy old man sitting in shit" you know; so that he could face the truth, a truth that he could never change and would just have to live with, I mean, he should really know that he's crazy right?... but that would have robbed him of his happiness. It's not a lie until the person knows the truth.

People aren't perfect. So you are going to have to understand that while thinking outside the box more then likely someone would make that decision for you. I understand you wouldn't end up in this situation because like you stated you would be keen to the first glimpse of deception.

But pretend one of your best friends saw your wife kissing a dude at a coffee shop, wouldn't you want to be told even if kids were involved or would you be mad he told you and you didn't figure it out first?

Posted by Intangible on Mar-17-2011 16:54:

I dont really have much to say

But to those who say this isn't any of tas business it is. We've all heard his sob stories about being single and we were all really happy for him when he met Lindsay. I think it's fair to say we all feel cheated and betrayed. I'm having a hard time believing everything

Fair enough. I'd like to know myself but I don't know if I'd have someone tell me or try and figure it out. I mean what's the likelihood after years of marriage eventually not finding out? Like others have said it's probably going to come to light anyway.

I really like this!! Ignorance can sometimes be such sweet bliss.

Everything you've said so far in this thread is unnecessary. Aren't you like, the one complaining about people keeping this topic going? Just because you're a girl doesn't give you a free pass to be a hypocritical idiot.

Disagreed...

A happy fool is still a fool...

Kids won't suffer as long as they still get love. Even if the parents are split up...

I'd say it's completely necessary to point out what a bunch of highschoolers you are. Have you seen me speculate anywhere on what actually happened? No. Ok thanks.

I would be pissed at my wife but also pissed at my friend. Someone else shouldn't make that decision for me...once they tell you they can't take it back. Even though their intentions might be good, telling me is only making them feel better.
