LOL

My buddy just broke his headphones the other night and I told him just pull an Angelo!

I hope he doesn't come back for another 333 years

Super 8 & Tab have on their site that they're playing Saturday, can anyone confirm if Above & Beyond is Saturday too? Last time I was in TO for a party was LoL 2007 and this would be the perfect reason to go back again. Thanks!!

I know they're both confirmed but are they playing the same night? I'm assuming so but need to make sure.

Posted by Dinoz2013 on Aug-14-2011 15:44:

I need more Confirmations...

Really seems like I'm only going to go One day, if thats when all the Trance/Progressive is being played...

Saturday really Feels like Electro-Crap Day....Hmmm I Unno Show me some more Bookings PLEASE!!!

set times..

very stoked on the addition of above & beyond and super8 & tab.. well done guys!

hopefully still one or two big names left..

now the reason for the post.. a couple buddies mentioned that at decadence 8, calvin harris and axwell were playing at the same time in different rooms.. obviously most chose axwell but many were dissapointed to miss calvin's set.. i realize it was a one day event which makes timing tougher.. but hopefully this time, they will allow us to see the full sets of all the "main" headliners..

(5) Above & Beyond
(7) Gareth Emery
(26) Benassi
(39) Avicii
(60) Super8 & Tab
(74) Dubfire
(86) Bloody Beetroots
+ maybe (14) Steve Angello or (16) Sebastian or another top act

So that's 8 acts.. at 1.5-2.5 hours each.. call it 2.5 to be generous..

4 per night is 10 hours.. that's 10pm - 6am..

That sounds pretty perfect for an event lasting "9:30pm - 7:00am"

I would propose..

Day A - Trance:

10:00-11:30 Super8 & Tab
11:30-2:00 Gareth Emery
2:00-5:00 Above & Beyond
5:00-7:00 extra

Day B - House/Electro:

10:00-12:00 Dubfire
12:00-2:00 Benassi
2:00-5:30 Avicii
5:30-7:00 Bloody Beetroots

I'm not sure what the restrictions are in terms of which artists can come on which days, but who's on which day doesn't really matter to me.. as long as we get to see all these people play their full sets!!

hopefully they can make it happen, see you there!!

LOL....

perhaps...but dubfire 10 - 12....lol really

lol - confirmed noob

Lol yes I don't mind admitting that I'm a noob.. Have only started attending shows this year.. All I want to express is that I want to see all the top talent possible without too much overlap.. As others have. Previously reported to be a problem at guv.. Anyways sorry I hadn't heard of dubfire before this show.. Will be stoked to see what he plays..

Posted by Salmon on Aug-15-2011 22:30:

Whoa, tickets just jumped in price huge to $115! Guess alot of people are excited about above and beyond and super8 and tab

$115.00 plus service charge is over $130.00

I still have a few wristbands priced @ $120.00...pm me if you need them

Posted by bucky on Aug-16-2011 05:28:

welcome to the scene... here, you need a bit of thick skin lol

Posted by Ferg on Aug-16-2011 06:04:

lol nub comment fest.

Hey noobs take it easy at this one, if you O.D. you'll be labeled as a party downer on T.A. forever.

Posted by bucky on Aug-16-2011 06:38:

No OD issues at the event.. they're dragged out a back door, down the alley and dumped in another part of town.

Posted by Wurm on Aug-16-2011 11:37:

Colour me over the hill, but why no one day price? Especially since there seems to be a division of styles. If I just want to go for Trance, I shouldn't be forced into both nights.

Oh well, as Yogi Berra said: The place is so crowded no one goes there anymore.

Get used to the overlap, it's kind of necessary for crowd control. If you toss a not so popular dj in koolhaus and a huge one in guv you'll end up with 80% of the buildings capacity trying to fit into one room which is brutal for security and people's safety in general. So they do the overlap on purpose to make life easier for everyone at the end of the day. Also most sets are 2-3 hours so you can usually manage to catch some of both without too much trouble.

give it a year or two and you won't care about 99% of headliners... just gallery all night
