Oh and Romney's "Corporations are people" comment is really going to help out his campaign, he was the only "legitimate" one up to that point.

No one gives a shit about the straw poll.

I know, but still, with the amount of attention Perry is getting and Bachmann winning this shows at least some desire for the GOP to go radical right wing.

This is what's showing you an inclination of some to go radical right wing?

Well, I mean more social than fiscal conservatism. Granted, all of these people are radically fiscal conservative, but at least some aren't total bible thumping theocracy craving nut jobs.

That is an accomplishment, my friend. You wouldn't scoff at a still surviving cancer patient with 60% of his mass constituted by a tumor. What could possibly bring you to dismiss this proof that miracles can and do happen, every day, in the instance that a second alternative was even considered.

How dare you?! How dare you shirk the prospects of this arguments future away with such a half-hearted quip. Oh, it has no future, what-so-ever, but this isn't something that's discussed in its hospital room. It's not here to listen to the sniffles of its grieving friends and relatives, despairing how its end is nigh; how its life-span is cut short under the scrutiny of its inspection. Look at the tablet at the foot of its bed.

CMO - DNR is what is on its first page. You know what those mean? Comfort Measures Only. Do Not Resuscitate. It has no factual basis. It's poorly researched. It's lucky to be a conditional ad hominem, at all, yet here you are to add to the shrill chorus of voices despicably mocking it for everything it isn't. Leave it alone, if you can't bare its sight.

And the smell. That awful, sickly sweet perfume of death, hovering, in the air.

I used to think you were a nice guy but I'm not sure, anymore.

EDIT: Usage

Edit, can you change your picture back soon? Too many people with one avatar=super confusing :P

Oh, and I honestly honestly thought it was nefardec when I first saw it, and thought "wow, he is going to be one ugly bitch"

I'm working on a new one, as I type.

The only hope for real change in America would be if Ron Paul won. It will not happen, but if it did. He would be going the way of Abraham Lincoln and Kennedy, a bullet to the head

It has been an interesting 12 years of decline for the US. I wonder if they can get a collective together and actually get shit done.

The only people left to tax in the US is pretty much the 1.50% of Americans that make over $250k a year. Which is like $424,750,000,000+ a year. Tax them at 50% you get over $200 Billion in new tax dollars. You still got 70-100 years before the US pays off the debts LOL

Plus we know Americans don't want to get taxed anymore, but they want their services and blah blah blah. Americans want the whole god damn Apple Pie when they shouldn't have it for a few years.

Ron Paul broke my heart. Such a cool logo, used by a politician:

True. And when I get a nose-bleed, I like to cut off the blood by tying a tourniquet around my neck.

I'm just curious about where you got this fanciful notion?

Posted by Joss Weatherby on Aug-15-2011 00:03:

Ron Paul would be the death of this country. Libertarianism is akin to anarchism. Both are a failure of people to comprehend how much they need someone to control them and their peers, lest people be able to act entirely selfishly. Utopian in scope and ideals. A fools errand.

Doesn't matter who the next U.S. president is. It'll just be more of the same; more bullsh!t.

I expect Obama will get a 2nd term, not necessarily because it's what the people want, but because he's supported enough major corporations w/bailouts & such, to gain enough financial backing & pull with the media to win again.

F*ck! I swore I'd leave this city before I became too cynical.

Michelle Bachmann & her husband own Christian Counseling centers where they supposedly turn gay people strait. And it's done with tax money.

This woman makes Sarah Palin look amazing.

... as governments around the world rack up trillion dollar debts and run economies straight into the ground.

what does Warren Buffett know??

[/sarcasm]

Seriously though...anyone who says raising taxes is a bad idea should be fired into the sun.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Aug-17-2011 04:14:

No one is stopping Mr. Buffet from giving even more of his money to the government if he feels it is such a great idea. Problem is, I'm sure that if all of his money were confiscated from him, it wouldn't even run the government for a week.

You can call me all the names you want. Still doesn't change the fact that governments around the world are racking up trillion dollar debts and running economies into the ground.
