i meant that if you looked at two people from diffrent lifestyles the thug with a crimminal conviction and the harvard student most people would jump to the conclusion that the thuged out kid stole your car when in fact it could be the student who did it

....there are endless possibilities on who could have done this...not jus bin laden, yes bin laden hates the US and yes he has the money...but its just wrong to beat up arabs/muslims/pakis/indians who live around you...they had nothing to do with it

cause all this shit started happening just as everyone was arriving
i've been going hardcore since 8am... almost a whole 12 hours surviving only on coffee

being in radio sucks at a time like this....
having to see this horror, and try to convey that message on air...
i don't think i'll be able to sleep tonight...

Thoughts....

First of all, i want to clarify this. i consider the attack on civils one of the worst posible actions, i do not aprove the crashing in the WTC, nor the killing of all that people.

Now, as a non-american, and non arab, its easier for me not to get emotional in this subject. Here are some thought i had in the day, these are thoughts, not truths and if u wish to rebutt them do it, just dont get emotional.

1.- The pentagon and the WTC are clearly two good military targets.why, for one they are symbols, they represent the economic and military supremacy you have, by attacking them and destroying them, they are showing that your country is as weak as any, and that you are not invulnerable.

2.- I know the states doenst bomb for no reason, but the US has bombed many places and this time the US got attacked, im not saying its even now, but its like a fight, if you are trowing punches to someone, even if its weaker, sooner or later he will strike back.

3.- Money is the main reason for war. not god as many believe, just that good leaders make people believe that the war is people destiny.

4.- For all those who claim to live in a free world, where the media tells the truth. how do u know the goverment of middle-east countries lie to their people, have u actually been there? or do u know because u saw it on tv or the newspaper? and if u do know because you readed about it, how could you know its not alterated by the goverment so that people support actions agaist the country? after all,most of the poeple watch local or national news, u r not watching news from russia and china, so it could be changed.

just some thoughts, i repeat, i do not aprove the killing of thousands of people, i just wanted to show a diferent angle of the same problem, not just the killing angle.

I must admit I have not read all the posts in this thread so I might repeat things already said.

First of all, it seems that responsible for this is a certain OSAMA BIN LADEN, terrorist leader in Afghanistan. (here for profile!!! )

Regarding the point someone made that US would not be able to start a war against a middle-east country, I fear that is not quite true. Don't forget about the Gulf War, don't forget how many enemies the U.S. has, not because it helped many countries, but especially because it has interfered in issues that did not concern U.S., or its integrity. we should all agree that no country is allowed to be the "universal cop" of the world. so this is the point Bin-Laden tried to make, though it is far from making it in an acceptable way. it's just incredible! mom called me from LA this morning, told me to open the TV so I saw what's going on...

also there are the acts which follow this that might lead to a war. (a little "fun"-fact: Nostradamus predicted that the Last War - WW3 - will start between what is believed to be the US - after interpretations of the texts - and a middle-east country... and all predictions Nostradamus made, especially those reffering to WW1 and 2 were 100% correct..scary thought!) because if the US doesn't analyze the matter and take a fast yet uncalculated action, it might start something big...even bigger then it is now!!!

so I guess this is something to fear. no matter where you live. tehnology and evolution have their defects, in meaning they now offer the possibility of destroying large areas of leand - or more, only KILLING people, no landscape damaging! - the neutron bomb) so nowhere is safe!!!

Whoever did this is gonna have some serious punnishment to face.
How does shit get sooooo messed up in this world. I am starting to lose my faith in humanity. We were put here to show how brilliant of a creation the human race is and this is how we repay our creator.
Kinda ruins the term "A dog will never bite the hand that feeds it".
I think that we should all keep our thoughts with the people who risked their lives to save the victems of this horible event. Also keep in mind those who were injured ofcourse and all the families that have lost their loved ones.

Latest: FBI are wanting search warrants for a location in Daytona, Florida - no idea why, but all will be revealed I suppose

Arrests were made of people who were either driving a truck carrying explosives on the George Washington bridge (located in New York City) or it was under it I forget. It is unknown whether or not it had any connection to the other events.

I dunno where you heard this, but lets combine all the people that died in the planes (266) the policemen and firefighters(400+)the people in the pentagon and in the hospitals(15) and then all the people that died on the planes contact (thousands) and last..All the people that died in the towers collapsing (thousands more).
Not to mention all the by-standers that wanted to watch this stuff.

When something like this is going on, EVERYBODY panics. There are only enough elevators to use in the World Trade Center. The lobby was gone, demolidhed. And when you have to use the stairs from the 20th,50th,75th or 100th floor it doesnt take minutes. With all the smoke all the people and all the hearts racing, this takes hours.

This is bad. Darkest day in this nations history.

There was a man who was in the first WTC tower hit. Up on like floor 80, may have been higher. He along with other managed to get down a few floors using the stairs and then got trapped. They had to walk across the building to the other side for the other stairwell avoiding fire's on the floor. He made it out to the ground and as soon as he got out, the second plane hit the other WTC tower. So it took the guy roughly 30 minutes to make it down from the first tower hit. Others were stuck and hanging out the windows waving things. Some jumping from the top floors to there death. It is a complete catastrophy, and something that not only affects those at hand in the US, but the entire world. The Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur have been evacuated due to threats just this morning (it's now 11:23PM -5GMT/EST).

CNN - People working at the Patronas building in Malyasia have been evacuated after receving a bomb alert - this is the biggest building in the world, with 2 towers..jesus

people keep talking about how the person/people who did this are going to face punushment.. but what punishment is going to be greater than what has already been done. Theres nothing u can do to a person that will ever compare to this kinda of contastrophy. U can kill a person.. whats that going to do.. take one life away compred to the 1000+ lives that were taken?? beat them. poison them? the punishment talk is like a finger shake in the face. Its nothing its like a slap on the hand. they basically got away with this and will continue to do so until the US wakes up and realizes that our "few good men" need some retraining. Apparently our deffense system is not up to date. WE talk the talk but can we walk the walk? notice how we help out these little countries that get their asses kicked but the little countries that are doing the ass kickin are kickin our ass at the same time. We are not the one of the most powerful nations in the world. Look i think what happened today was a complete example of what i am saying. And as far as the government .. they hide so much shit from us .. they new about the 4 hi-jacked planes before this ever started .. they knew they were off course and as soon as something became suspicious they should have acted then. Not waited to see what was going to happen.. and then when something did happen.. they are shocked. What did they think was going to happen .. oh they just went of course... they'll get back on soon. PLEASE! I love my country America but i do believe that we have some growing up to do. Hopefully we can quit f***ing around, realize and start doing some learning/ growing.

I saw this one shit on the news about a guy on the 87th floor and how he made it out. He got down to the 86th floor because everyone else on the 87th was dead. So on his way down he looked for people. He found a lady in a wheelchair. He picked her up and strapped her to his back with some ties that were on the wheelchair. He climbed down 84 floors with a disabled woman in her wheelchair on his back.

Now that is a man with courage.

84 floors with a woman on his back.. that man deserves a metal honor. Ya i was listening to the news on the radio station and they had this man on there that had just gotten out of the WTC .. and on his way down the stairs he saw all the handycapped people sitting and waiting for the elevators not knowing that they werent working. And he was crying in tears because there was no way for him to help them and for him to get out at the same time. When i heard that i started to cry .. and i am not the one for crying either.
