what did you have such problems with time? I've mixed 16 songs and didn't even reach the 79-minute-mark :-)
I'm currently uploading my set...works fine for me
I will upload my set in an hour or so, once I finish encoding it.
Here's the tracklist:
01. Alucard - Maeror Infinitus [CDR]
02. Mike Hiratzka & Justin Scott Dixon - Two Worlds (Descent Remix) [Propulsion Records]
03. Ficta - Eli [GU Music]
04. Rio Addicts - Crossroads (Probspot Remix) [Armana]
05. Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes (Perry O'Neil Dub) [Armind]
06. Blank & Jones ft Bobo - Perfect Silence (Perry O'Neil Remix)(DJ Commisad's Dubbed Edit) [CDR][Gang Go]
07. BT - Remember (Benz & MD Bootleg) [CDR]
08. Endre - I Kill For You (Probspot Remix)(DJ Commisad Reconstruction) [Anjunabeats]
09. Syndique - Lost Thoughts [Tsunami]
10. Alt+F4 - Alt+F4 [Anjunabeats]
11. SignalRunners - Recoil [CDR][Red Monkey Recordings]
12. Van Eyden ft Susanne Webb - The 1 (Sonicvibe Remix)(DJ Commisad's Dubbed Out Edit) [CDR][Fenology]
If judges want a cue, I can make one, but due to my tardiness in getting this in, I'm sure they will appreciate my focus is on encoding and uploading. =)
Used Native Instruments Traktor Studio 2.03 and Sonic Foundary's Sound Forge 6.0 for encoding.
No one has took up my BT feat Jan Johnson - Flesh offer!!!!
Not to worry lol

Can anyone please PM me the ftp info again. I tried using the one DJSphere sent us, but it's refusing connection. I'll try again later today, perhaps it only permits so many connections at a time or it's offline or something. |

But yeah, next time.
Nevermind, got it fixed. Computers eh... go figure. Rebooted and bam, it works.
I couldn't connect to ANY ftps. It wasn't the ftp at all. Was my end.
Enjoy my horrible mixing judges! Bring ear plugs!
*edit*
btw, i just noticed i used the wrong version of the dubbed out edit i did. I used the version i had not rebuilt yet. d'oh! so its a bit bumpy hehe.

It's good being a judge, it means that i have got 4 mixes and 2 of my own on MP3 in the car now!!!!!
There is a good array of styles here, good tracks, some superb mixing and phasing in.
There is also some not so great tracklists, one or two real area's of "off key" mixing where 2 melodies really clash, but, from what I have heard, the mixing quality is generally good.
As an early indicator, from 1-10 i would say the mixing is from 5 up to a solid 10!!!!
I have noticed that one thing is missing from tracklistings, I think I could do with knowing what Software was used and methods. I say this because some of the mixings are THAT good, I was wondering if a WAV editing system was used. Although this system is one hell of a good way of producing some absolutley brilliant results, it isn't how the rules stated the mixing should of been made.
I'm not saying that anyone at all has used this method and I don't think they have but - I as a judge - would love to know how you guys did it.
Hopefully in the future there will be a WAV editing mix comp, then I can enter as I dont have the sstem ability for 2 soundcards.
Top notch folks
Here's an edited version of WAV mixing that I do.
Anyone wanna name the tracks?
Right click save as....
any comments too , I use MAGIX music studio
target page not found-....booo
so its not working mr2gti...
Anyway- I forgot some pieces of info:
I also used Creative- Wavestudio for recording my mix live, and CDex for encoding in mp3 format.
+ here is the playlist:
Delirium- beyond the sky
Lolo - Landscape
Sunburst - Eyeball(Pulser mix)
Oceanlab feat. Justine Suissa- Beautifull together(signum mix)
Infinityloop - Crave (Radio mix)
Driftwood - anything goes
Chemistry - We are one(clubmix)
David Forbes - Simpatico
Dj Kim - Time and space (Alphazone mix)
Cern - the message(southern mix)
Cloud nine - transmission(J K Walker mix)
Bubble Fish - sushi lovers
It's up now.
I posted it as it was uploading.
i see- well now its working finnne
I saved it as a .MP3 and it's downloading as a .MPGA????????
Downloaded it and opened winamp - works fine.
Odd, never heard of a mpga before.

I took each MP3 and applied a little bit of compression and eq BEFORE the mixing, since there aren't any realtime controls for that in PCDJ Red. I used PCDJ Red for the live mixing. Then I recorded using Nero Wave Editor (didn't edit anything post-mix though), and WinLAME for encoding.

| It's good, really good, but i think talented people can easily mix like you, just live with real turntables and i don't think it's hard at all to mix like this using PCDJ software if you've got a good ear and some skills. |
