Smiley DJ Gabriel & Dresden - Bloom

I have to say that this is one of the best compilations released this year. Gabriel & Dresden have a very slick & classy taste in selecting tunes and it definitely shows on this album. All the G&D productions and remixes found on Bloom are good to say the least.

Upon my first listening session of Disc 1, I just couldn't get "Andain - Here Is The House" out of my head, and found myself hitting the "Back" button on my CD player. Disc 2 kinda flows in the same line as Disc 1, but is a bit more upbeat.

Go buy this CD, put it in your CD player, put on your headphones, lay down, relax, and enjoy some hi quality music.

hehe, arcadia is nice, sounds more like "VOL UP"

"where did the passion go?"

but to stay modern! nicole sponberg - resurrection (Gabriel & Dresden Remix) rocks the shore :-) loads of like that old
< annie lennox - pavement cracks >
build up :~ but hey! soooooo different!! an own soul and arcadia is a melodic trance song with a woah drive!

I think it was mislabeled on the CD case, check discogs for the bloom release and they said it was:

Fascinated - Totally Fascinated (M.I.K.E.'s Fascinated Mix)

Was very pleased with what I got for my $40. (Yes, HMV rapes us up here)

I would definitely say this is in my top 3 compilations of the year. I wish I would've had the chance to see them in Chicago back in Sept. but I was in San Diego at the time. Maybe I'll have the chance at the WMC.

I have a lot of favorite tracks on both cd's. Audioholics - External Key is one of my favorites of this year. Also, Andain's - Here is the House, Sarah McLachlan - World on Fire, Above & Beyond - No One on Earth, Dido - Don't Leave Home, Bigtop - Sub, Gabriel & Dresden - Arcadia & Serendipity are all great IMO.

Just have to say again how phukin awesome this 2 cd mix is. After seeing them live again in austin last month we came back home and listened to bloom, god what an experience. then the next night was "on a high" again and really must say that this compilation touched me that night. especially the last song on cd2

Fascinated - Totally Fascinated (M.I.K.E.'s Fascinated Mix)

heard and felt things i have never felt before until those 2 sessions of hearing Bloom. Was it the roll? Probably. But, it opened my senses to the mix. . as an Attention Deficit song goes, "Use Only The Drugs"

it's the "dave gardner & saharz haoman 17 mix" and it's already out on bedrock for a few months!

$22 on HMV.ca. Shop wisely.

Anyway, I keep meaning to check this album out, but haven't thus far.
