Holy shit that's crazy...just as I said it's over...MAN!...too bad they won't move on to the finals anyway

Okay AC wasnt uber stellar but they squeeked through this.
I like AC cuz Maldini and Nesta are amazing defenders in my eyes, but Liverpool are on a upset tear.
FACK!
PSV 3-1 Milan (3-3 aggregate, Milan advances on away goals)
PSV was the better team for pretty much the entire tie.
PSV gets ahead after Park puts it away after Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink outmuscles Stam in the penalty area. Vennegoor of Hesselink then hits the bar from a cross by Von Bommel. Cocu makes it 2-0 after a header from a cross by leftback Lee Young Pyo. Milan misses two free headers, but puts away third after slack PSV defending leaves Ambrosini open to head in a cross from Kaka. Morea drama as quick restart and Cocu volleys in a pass to draw level again, but Milan wins by away goals.
Fack.
Milan was most troubled by PSV's quick wingers with quick pace, esp. Farfan on right and leftback Lee. Von Bommel had some good crosses which caused some trouble. Milan should learn a lesson from PSV about keep ball and PSV went after every single ball. A lot of heart and PSV deserved to go ahead, but those Milan buggers go through.
Well, if Milan played like today against Liverpool, they'll get destroyed.
this is hearbreaking ... milan were luky to get two goals in the home leg when PSV annihilated them in the second half and today they played like they were sure that they already through and need to conserve their energy for the crunch game against juventus this weekend.... truly a cruel day for football ... im not a big fan of the away goal rule ... they need to come up with another alternative ... maybe play a third game at a neutral venue or something because clearly today and in the past, this goal has robbed the better team ... a team can score an early goal at home then defend defend defend and carry these tactics to the away game where the opponents will come out attacking and again they can score only one goal and that means the other team needs to score three times with their opponents having 8 men at the back ... these sort of dirty tactics need to be eliminated in football ...

| Originally posted by raveed i hope you right man ... cuz nesta, maldini, cafu and stam are IMO one of the best defensive forces ever ... milans defence has seldon been breached and should that happen its next to impossible to get back in to the game for them because it means making a U turn on their natural game ... but if they score first ... game over ,,, finito , bye bye ... you got as much chance scoring against them as luke chadwick has of being a ladies man |

man heartbreaking indeed !! PSV literally played their hearts out in the 2 matches and definately deserved to advance as the better team in both legs. such a shame to see it go down this way but bigUPS to PSV no doubt for all that effort.
the Liverpool - Milan showdown with no doubt be good but it woulda definately been interesting to see an upset vs. upset team in the finals!
no doubt at this point .. go Liverpool !!

Man U should have put Arsenal away. So many more chances with Rooney and Ronaldo ripping Arsenal sidebacks apart, plus open headers.

aww...st.andrew!! i'm sorry to hear that you'll miss it! tape it? tivo?
LIVERPOOL !!!!
I hope they win...but something tells me Milan are going to prove too strong. Still, it would be a perfect ending to an otherwise miserable season for the reds...
