How is EDM dead in America? Heck I don't even live in America and I know certainly that it is not dead. How did EDM even die? it's fucking huge, as Tongy said in 2000, dance music is so huge in the States, you could not kill it if you wanted to and he's so right. Yes Studio 54 went, so did Twilo and some other clubs but how come so many European deejays ditching Europe for North America?
Crobar
Soma
Giant
Nikita
Space in Miami
that's just a start!
EDM will never die in the States, if the scene was actually dead, would you see big name deejays actually coming to play gigs? NO, would you see big name clubs doing things in the states, probably not.
I think most of you numbnuts are misinformed judgemental fools. The EDM scene in the States is not dead and it is still growing imo, same with Canada, it's huge, just most of you jump to conclusions

I don't think the state of the rave scene is measured by how many superclubs there are.
America imports trance...that's just about it. We still make the best techno and house.
you know i would say that there are a lot of emerging american talents, but they are all primarily in the proggressive and breaks spectrum and not trance. lots of the best stuff being made these days keeps ending up under a lot of young talented americans...
just kinda interesting hehehe
