sweet, I have never used PCDJ before, is it any good?
Seems easy enough, it's just knowing your tracks and pre-arranging levels really.
Simple enough though
Thats very similar to it.
sweet.
Mix Mesiter Pro is the most effective I've used, it's organized and the digital display is great.
www.mixmeister.com
if you're interested ;-)
A lot of pro DJs are using it now!
damn dude, that doesn't look simple at all. lots os knobs and buttons, good luck! lol
How the hell do you put a pic into this message?
i see the IMG button, but like...wtf??
I use Traktor DJ Studio, a common computer, 10$ doundcar and 7 $ Headphones, they dont even have a brand jejeje.
But I have very good speakers, Altec.
I wonde rif yo uonly know to mix with software, and not with Cdplayers or Vinyl?
for now I only know to use software, but in the future i want to learn to use cds or vinyl.
I can not Beatmatch by myself, and the bpm its very often to be wrong in Traktor.
hey does PCDJ beatmatch for you?
Iw odner if theres any software out there, that doesnt shows you graphics, bpm and doesnt synchonize
well what you can do is look into PC hardware where it's basically like a Digital Turntable. You have two turntables and a mixer, but it all plugs into your laptop/computer. The computer acts as a catalog for your mp3's. Therefore, you do not have to lug around heavy crates of vinyl and only be able to pick from say 50 tracks; you get to pick whatever tracks you want from a large library of songs and control which turntable is playing what, but still haev the option to mix manually (analog).
you mean like Final Scratch or Serato Scratch
For Now I Practice iwth software, coz anyway even though i dotn learn to beatmathc , there is a lot of djing skills that you can learn.
When i got th emoney, I'll look for software like this, or Cd Decks.
Thanks for the advice.
yah, Serato looks pretty cool, also looks pretty expensive! lol
the best way to go I think this day in age is mp3, that way you have a bigger selection of tunes to play and can better attend to the audience. However in the same way, it's not really a "performance" in terms of the whole "god pose" that you can do with vinyl and actually dance around a lot more, that type of thing.
it's kind of a trade off, but software is cool to hang with for a while!
Well for Now I keep messing with software,
Later when i get the money, i'm gonna get Stuff like serato or Cd Decks,
and have you Play sets Live in a club or party , with Mixmeister?
not much yet, i'm only 17 so it's hard to get booked for any clubs. But the professional DJs that recommended Mix Meister to me have. They play at gigs across the world with it and have found it to be the most powerful softwarre they've ever used. I'd have to agree with them ;-)

Thanks to the judges of challenge 7. have any of you got any comments as i only seen comments for pepa's mix and not mine.
i would like to know why one judge gave me 24/25 for beatmatching and the other two judges gave me 19.5 and 20. don't get me wrong i'm not complaining as i won my challenge. but i have seen this happen in other challenges aswell. i would agree that judges scores may differ in the track selection as they may prefer one tracklist to another. but for judges to score differently on beatmatching confuses me as the beats are either in sync or not. as i said i've noticed this in other challenges and would like to hear the views of the other dj's and judges.
dj sphere put me down for judging another challenge.
judges of challenge11, please send your scores to me so i may calculate them! thanks!
