ahh yes..i forgot to add....PEOPLE NEED TO STOP FARTING at these events...I had to move a couple of times because someone dropped BOMBS!!!
also dropped sonorous - protonic [ronski speed mix] in the first hour of the set. was very surprised to hear that classic.
Okay...back from the wedding...wasn't as bad as I had expected. But now I can write a formal review.
I got to the Docks around 11:30ish...and it was jam packed! I was so glad there was no coat check this time! I headed out to the patio...I didn't realize how big it was, I didn't even get to see all of it. I didn't really say Hi to too many of the TAs right away, b/c I am super shy. But then Jem_hadar saw me and of course I had to give him a huge hug! The night continued on, and my friend Trisha and I were bouncing around all over the place. We kept losing our friends though...but then that encouraged us to meet new ones. We many people, lots of them TAs. Once I started rollin' I just started going around to people asking them if they were TAs. I found it amusing when I was like "Are you guys TAs?" and they'd reply back with "No, I'm on E." Haha
I was quite satisfied with Tiesto's track selection, though I'm surprised he didn't play more from Just Be. Some of my highlights...I Know You're Gone, Six Hours 'Til Morning, Bad, Urban Train, North Pole, Darkside of the Moon!!! I totally forgot how badly I wanted him to play that, and when that came on I started belting out the words like no tomorrow. Naranja...I wanted to hear that song SO badly in December, and for a long time I thought he played it and I missed it (big misunderstanding between Josh and I, thinking we were talking about the same song, when really the other was Murder Was The Bass)...but when he pulled that out, I was so pumped. That Push song from Innercity...what's it called? I seem to think it's called Universal Nation, but my friend insists it's called The Anthem...regardless, I've heard it played before, but never like that! And of course my number one highlight...Flight 643, my favorite Tiesto track ever! I wanted him to play that back in December as well...and I was so upset he didn't. But it was DEFINATLY worth the wait! That was fucking INSANITY!!!! Ohhhh and that last track that Tiesto played...HOLY CRAP! I hope someone IDs that fucking track b/c it was SUCH a great song!! Though I wasn't too pleased about how he just peaced out after it!
Ah...speaking of IDing songs, I guess I could look this one up, but in case someone already knows...the DJ that spun after Tiesto played a song from Ferry Corsten @ Innercity, and I was asking everyone what it was called b/c I loved it! It was a sik remix he played too. But anyway...I still don't know what it's called, and I must find out! My friend liked to call it "Ferry Corsten...Innercity...20th minute." I thought that was quite amusing, but I'm still not satisfied. (Also, I don't know if it actually is at the 20th minute - but if anyone knows what track I'm talking about, and the name...let me know.)
Anyway...I know this is long, but I gotta do some shout outs before I'm done...I met SO many TAs finally for the first time, so I need to say Hey!

Lars...so much fun to party with you again babe!
Fahad...we've finally met in person...though apparently you don't remember me! Haha j/k
Vertigo...awesome to meet you in person as well!

Pat...good to meet you...I thought you took off before I could say goodbye, but you came back!
Dufarei...a little disapointed this was probably the first and last time I'll get to party with you, but hopefully you'll be back for a visit! Have a safe journey to Cali.

Sorry I couldn't make it out to the beach, but I'm glad we got to party for a few hours...haha

what a night... go to the DOocks around 11 something....thinking the lneup would be ridiculous... but it wasnt bad at all....fast/// the guv should learn something from these guys... Tiesto started earlier than I thought and finished earlier than I thought...kinda felt like he had a "flight" to catch....
the set was Ok nothing great... but this exactly what happened the last time he was here in summer to promote JUST BE....December was a better set... The sound in the place was horrible for trance... House, maybe. Half of the club was packed while the rest of the place was not so bad but the reason the guv kicks ass is because the sound is every where...and that is why everyone was pushing to be in front, honestly, the speakers in the back were terrible!!! like it was an after thought by the managers..
The night was made memorable by freinds and TAs, and the beach after.
Fahad, dude your a nut for driving to Mtl after that...

This was a fun night
however, i enjoyed the party in decmeber slightly more
music was great both last dec at the docks and this time around, with isos4 tunes dominating this time around
however the classics dropped last dec. were unmatched (ie gouryella, voyage, etc.)
i couldnt believe innocente was dropped tho! def went insane to that.
really liked Love is gona save us,Bad, La noche and Universal Nation.
Also, this time around he shouldve closed the night off like he did back in december, the end of his set didnt suffice the night and seemed hurried if anything.
i agree with the bass being too high, and little treble. docks needs to improve their system but whatever
overall 8.5/10

TIESTO! TIESTO! TIESTO!!
Alright, so I have one beef with the entire night. If you make a deadline/meeting time, FUCKING STICK TOO IT.
I had SO much to do between 6 and 9:30, and I get EVERYTHING done on time. At 9:30, I was to meet the guy with mine and katy's tickets at the docks, and he doesn't show up till 11:30.
The plan was to get the tickets at 9:30, deliver katy's ticket to her car in Mississauaga while she's at work. Drive back and make it into the club before 11, and see all of Tiesto's set. Unfortunately, after I got the tickets at 11:30, drove to mississauga, got to Katy's car, it was already 12:15. She gets off work at 1:30, so I figured I'd stick around and wait for her. By the time we made it INSIDE the docks, it was 3 a.m.
Anyways, we got inside to some SWEET SWEET trance. I had been informed by my friends that I had missed Max Graham's - Gone and Jase From Outter Space (DOH!!) but the rest of the nights music more than made up for it. I ran into Ivan inside and said a quick hello but had to chase after my friend and girlfriend before I lost them. Then ended up on the patio and ran into a bunch of TA's ripping it on the mini dancefloor. Jamie, Steve, Dan, Cale, Jay, RJ, Lars, b4k-oz.
Had a heart to heart with Fuad. LOL.
Eventually it was time to go in, and I got to meet a bunch more ta's. Flec (I bet you're surprised I remembered your real name, get your pic fixed on the hey don't you post on TA thread), Fahad, Nada, Lisa, Josh, Danielle (you asked me twice if I remembered who you were 
Of course I do!), Simon, Walkindude, Tiesto4Life, Pett, Starsearcher, Jenn, Milos, Durafei, Spyder *drool*, Yankeebaby. A few non TA's, Luke and Heather.
CHRIS [NFC]Wave - With my camera, you made magik happen. GREAT PICTURES, and GREAT VIDEOS. Props! You and your beautiful girlfriend were a pleasure to hang out with. I came up to you guys JUST at the right time.
Props to the crew I came with, IrishAddict and her cousin Amy, and friends Nick and Mike. My beautiful girlfriend Katy, my friends Nema and James. Stef and Emily (who'll prolly never read this but worth giving a shoutout to). GOOD TIMES.
Oh, an actual review? YEAH! The music was good. I honestly didn't expect tiesto to go so hard, but he did and it was great. I was worried because I forgot my earplugs before going into the club, but kinda glad that I didn't inflict anymore damage to my ears because of the shitty sound inside. I can feel my hearing getting worse, so in a way, I'm glad the sound wasn't too loud, because I dodged another bullet this time, however, had I had my earplugs, I'd have been pissed if the sound was this dull. I NEED TO FEEL THE BASS IN MY BONES.
I didn't mind the crowd too much. It isn't half as sketchy as the guv crowd on any given saturday. I'd rather be around pushy people than be depressed around people who've hit rock bottom. Far less of a druggy crowd.
The venue, that was my first time being at the docks and I foucking LOVE it. The patio is the PERFECT chill out spot. The view of the lake rocks. The layout of the club is great. I cannot wait to go to more events at this great club.
