victorians are ace at the sports they chose to play, but where is the fun in admitting it?
what cheeses me off about the australian team is michael clarke. he used to always dob my mate in for swearing in primary school...taddle tales go to hell

Nick Nack whatever your called your a spastic, get out of this thread.

Trance Nutter: Its that clique that made australia into the great team it was, but its also gonna be that clique that kills the australian team. Anyway the series is still 1-1 hasnt been lost, we could be writing diff things come 5th test.

Why do you keep telling me that?
I agree with you! I've been saying similar things (away from the forum) before this discussion began.

Posted by Light The Fuse on Aug-25-2005 08:54:

seriously i wish this series wasnt so good, just when i almost get a handle on my body clock another test starts

Posted by Trance Nutter on Aug-25-2005 09:23:

Shut the hell up Matthews. What a stupid comment, "why bring in Tait when Macgill is there?"

Fuckin knob jockey.

MCGRATH OUT. ENGLAND BATTING FIRST. HERE WE GO...

Posted by Ian on Aug-25-2005 10:02:

looks an intriguing 5 days. Kasper has started well but it's if he can continue to do so, it's hard taking over from mcgrath for sure.

As for today, esp with bucknor out there watch out for the bad light calls, it's not the brightest of days, i'm about 20-25 miles to the south west ish off nottingham & its quite dull here.

More wickets off no-balls. We've really turned to shit this Ashes series. Hopefully the rain will set in and save our arses.

not sure if what's just passed through here will make it's way to nottingham, it wouldn't surprise me, but it's just hammered down with hail for 10 minutes

the weather helped see to that, really disappointed that it was poor as we'd got a great start. Anyway nearly time for day two.

Posted by Philby on Aug-26-2005 11:05:

5 for now, even pontings been into the batsment hehehe. not going too bad so far, lol tait getting carted if we get rid of flintoff should be alright...

They are close to the 400 mark again though. Where's the rain when you need it?

Odd chance of a shower either later this evening or tomorrow afternoon. Sunday looks a bit dodgy, though we should be ok.

forecast here

http://www.meto.gov.uk/lib/includes...nottingham.html

As for a summary of the morning, well Freddie was good, but we need him to go on & double his score at least. A big hundred is paramount to us being able to attack when we bowl, If we're out for under 400 it will be so much worse than 500 or more. Lets see anyway, tho the commentary is sending me mad, Boycott is pretty annoying & the next time tony greig says 'welcome to this telecarst' as his first words I'm going to pull my hair out
