Only if he had signed release forms from the three chicks.

I'm not sure what your point is...

How he jumps from progressive to trance at times is and i cant imagine that it flows well

looking at a map is not the same as being in the territory

The +1 was someone from Malasyia. Look, there's a lot that pisses me off about my own country, but give it a rest. Bitch about our government all you want (if you look around, we sure do), but leave the citizens, many of whom didn't vote for these clowns in office, alone.

Sorry we can't all be from the land of chocolate and waffles.

Anyhow, I thought this thread was about TPOD2 not country bashing, which is why it's in CD reviews/New Release Discussion and not the Political forum

I'm all for bashing the American's but that was shit.

Posted by weymouth on Sep-23-2005 18:34:

Picked it up yesterday. Some good single tracks but I wasnt too impressed with the energy level and flow. I wasnt going to buy it because of what people have said about it on here but I am trying to buy more music instead of just downloading. Have only listened to each cd twice now though, needs more listens for an accurate review.

Posted by Phortastic on Sep-23-2005 18:34:

yeah agree, just couldnt resist. sorry if it was offensive, it kinda came out without thinking.

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Sep-23-2005 18:35:

No I mean it was shit in that it weren't funny. If it had been more offensive then maybe it might have made it a bit more funny.

some people need to learn how to read. I said that by only judging at the tracklist there seems to be no flow and if u say that u cant know that before u listen to it: ofcourse! How can i argue with that fact. But as i stated before in this thread this is why i dont even WANT to listen to it. The tracks are weak imo and there SEEMS to be no flow. Now thats my opinion. If u cant swollow that thats your problem, not mine.

Posted by eltomas on Sep-23-2005 19:06:

ahhh, "SEEMS" is the key word, a word that WAS NOT on the statement I replied to....I guess some people need to learn how to writte

yeah that was indeed a bit overreacted on my part. Fair enough.

Posted by eltomas on Sep-23-2005 20:02:

BTW, saw PVD wed night...played the usual suspects: NBY, TOOL, for an angel, crush, another way, the other side...anywayz he played marc van linden - forbidden love BUT it sounded SO DIFFERENT from the one in the album, anyone know if there are 2 versions or something?

After really enjoying the mix that PvD put together for Mixmag 05/05, he continues that style with TPOD2 release. The CDs flow nicely, the song selections are tracks that are somewhat simplistic in nature, and feel sophisticated. Many of the tracks are minimalistic, and subtle, and take a few listens before they start to reveal themselves. Overall, I'm really impressed, it's much better than I was hoping it would be. Will be listening to it a lot over the coming weeks.

if tpod2 was anything like his 05/05 mixmag compilation then id enjoy it a lot more...but its not

You are correct that 05/05 and TPOD2 are not the same -- but they have a lot in common, in the general feel of the direction that PvD has been evolving his vision of Trance. He is continuing what he showed us with 05/05 -- but just in a way that leans more towards the mainstream.

What version of "Solange - Messages" did he use for TPOD2?
