I agree with Rotoworld that he should have at least another full season in AAA before becoming a major league regular.
thanks shamez for the info
its gonna be a long season for us but yeah it should be fun to see how thoseprospects do.
Sadly though we no longer will even lead the league in fingers as Antonio "El Pulpo" Alfonseca is no longer with us
the Marlins are still talkin with the city of Hialeah so they can be the Hialeah Marlins , honesty I doubt it will happen but anyways... Still funny to think theyll have the team in such a Cuban Community, more stadium names i can think of now, Flotilla Field, Wet Foot Dry Foot Park, Scarface Stadium aka say hello to my little field....
or like at the ol candlestick park they call it the Stick , theyll simply call ours the RAFT

Jays are going to be sick this year...
I am officially on their bandwagon... and my feet aren't dangling off the back, I'm fully plopped up on the wagon... all arms and legs inside!
If anyone cares... Theo and company, or Henry and Co..... removed the 406 club from Fenway, and are making it open air seating, which I think will be cool... but until they replace those crappy ass seats in the grandstands and bleachers, I'll never attend games again... but they are improving the worst ballpark in the country SOMEWHAT...
Jays will be good... I don't think I'd say "sick" just yet. It depends fully on if AJ Burnett pulls a Pavano or not.
Yankees will win the division again. Toronto will be third. 88 wins or something. I think Burnett will pull a Pavano. Unfortunately, I think Pavano will pull a Pavano too.
Burnett can afford to pull a Pavano... because they got Halladay... but he won't...

| Another spring, another member of the Sox taking shots at Alex Rodriguez. This time, however, it isn't the Boston Red Sox; it's Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen. Guillen, in an interview with Sports Illustrated, targeted A-Rod's much-publicized back and forth standing whether to play in the World Baseball Classic for the Dominican Republic or United States. "Alex was kissing Latino people's asses," Guillen, who's from Venezuela, said in the most recent issue of Sports Illustrated. "He knew he wasn't going to play for the Dominicans; he's not a Dominican!" Rodriguez, who has dual citizenship in the Dominican Republic and United States, decided to play for the American squad after once saying he wasn't going to play in the WBC because choosing a team was too difficult. Guillen apparently found his wishy-washy attitude to be disingenuous. "I hate hypocrites: He's full of [expletive]," Guillen told Sports Illustrated. "The Dominican team doesn't need his ass. It's the same with [Nomar] Garciaparra playing for Mexico. Garciaparra only knows Cancun because he went to visit." |
lol...
that is great...
Yo Shamez..."ITS LIMA TIME...BELIEVE IT!!!!" whicj=h Jose Lima did the Mets get? the 20 game winner or the guy that serves up 8 runs a game
Well... Lima is just on a minor league contract, so it's not a big deal. The only way that could be bad for the Mets is if he makes the team and didn't really deserve to.

Barry is retiring at the end of the season...
yeah I know, who really cares...
he should do himself and the Giants a favor and just quit now...
how does oakland do it ? they seem to have the best talent scouts or something ...
link
need opinions here ...
which oakland A pitching lineup is better ?
iggy, tim hudson, mark mulder, barry zito, rich harden, and ted lilly ?
or
hudson street, esteban loiaza, barry zito, rich harden, joe blanton, and dan haren ?
this is going to be tough. hudson and mulder are awesome pitchers i have to give them taht, but harden, blanton, and haren really have some wicked stuff we have not seen yet.
off topic ..
anna benson has filed for divorce with Baltimore Orioles' pitcher Kris Benson .
who thinks anna just used kris to get publicity for herself ?
*raises hand*
lol... hello...
she filed though?
I thought I was reading today that they both though someone screwed them over, because a certain person didn't like Anna... and that's why he was traded??? It was in Sports Illustrated...
But... seriously... they were great for each other....
yeah....
