Up to now i've only listened to a little house here and there, and just now i'm really starting to get into it. i thought DDTT = Dark Dirty Tribal Tech a subgenre of house or something. I keep seeing ppl rave about DDTT, and was looking to hear what its like... but i guess i already have lol |

Dark, dirty, techy and tribal are words used to describe the various, diverse sounds in house music. DDTT is an acronym made popular by RJ, which he used to describe a few different styles of house. It caught on, cause the "DDTT" sound is quite popular in Toronto among local DJ's, and a whole lot of people here started using it as if it were a seperate genre
It's not a genre, nor is it a sub-genre.
Here's another Club Plazma set for ya'll...

I'm excited for WMC. Not because I'm going (I wish!), but because of the aftermath of sick sets and bangin' tunes that WMC will leave in its wake.

DJ VIBE
12.07.04
IMO, Toronto hasn't heard enough of DJ Vibe. This guy plays some of the most bojangled tunes you will ever hear. Always programed very well with flawless mixing. He is a master of the party. And considering Toronto's taste in tunes i am very suprised that DJ Vibe's name barely comes up when talking about good djs. Toronto would eat this guy up. So here ya go....

Arguably some of the best tribal I've ever heard.
For those that like this set, he is playing in Montreal at Stereo next Saturday (March 18). I would go if I didn't have an exam that effing day!
Bring this man back to Toronto PLEASE !
Here is one of my favourite prog sets ever. I wish Hernan still played like this. He has become way too "dreamy". Ahhh, how I miss old school Hernan Mixmaster sets.
This is very different. Slowed down, creepy, dark and brooding prog. I hope you guys like it!
