I thought I'd post something so I don't get lost
It was really nice to see so many TA's out on Friday. Now that my best girlfriend works Friday nights, she couldn't keep me company while Aaron was busy at work as well
Thankyou to all TA's for the company
DA, good to see you again

Since Cale's not here to stick up for himself. I just wanted to make a comment on the "me dancing on the speaker thing"...I am in no way mad at Cale for not wanting me to dance on the speaker at previous events at PR and don't think it's unreasonable at all for him to not want me up there. I can't help wanting to dance up there when I'm having so much fun. But I can completely understand what he's saying. My skirts aren't always the longest and being up on a speaker, I'm sure most guys aren't looking up my skirt but there's always that chance, and Cale doesn't want some perve to be doing that. He has never once "forbade" me to dance up on the speaker, but out of respect to him, I chose not to. This past Friday however I really wanted to get up there - and with the help of Kristina convincing him - Cale said he wouldn't get upset if I was up there for a little while...and he so kindly danced in front to keep all the creepo's away (IF there were any...which I don't think so).
I think part of it is also b/c when we were in New York for Ferry Corsten, some random guy came up to me and was like "Can I take pictures of you?" And I was like "ummm no"...but then I was up on stage with Ferry for a lot of the night, and low and behold I saw the creep snapping shots of me. He's lucky I didn't blatantly point him out to Cale.
On another note, Jamie as much as I like you...Steve is right. You should watch what you say sometimes b/c many people find it inappropriate but just don't say anything to you b/c we're your friends. You've been getting a little over the top lately.
And lastly, this has nothing to do with the above statements, but I had about $15 stolen from my purse on Friday, which was behind the table behind the DJ booth. I'm lucky I kept my camera with me all night, but I had $15 in my purse, which I touched maybe once throughout the entire night.
This on top of Mada's camera being stolen a month or so ago I think is ridiculus. We have the luxury of not having to pay for coat check b/c we're friends with the DJs and are allowed to put our things behind the DJ booth, yet I think it's quite sad that we can't trust people in the PR to not take things.
I AM IN NO WAY accusing ANY of you of stealing my money or Mada's camera...in fact I'd like to believe it wasn't a TA or any of our friends that would do something like this period. But I just want you all to know that things DO get stolen back there...something as expensive as a digital camera, to a measly litle $15. I know it doesn't sound like much...but I'm not in the best financial states right now and brought that money only for emergency purposes, and then I get it stolen.
Be careful with your stuff back there, don't leave anything valuable you don't want to lose. Maybe it's worth the money to put things in a locker or in coat check. But if you or anyone you know has been stealing things from behind the DJ booth (again, I'm making NO accusations), please think twice about what you're doing...b/c these people are your friends and none of us are millionaires (at least that I know of, and if you are...please PM me)
so it wasn't $5 but $15?!
oh dear!
i just like to point out that I've seen maybe maximum 5 ppl around that area on friday, and all of them were TA's
sadly, I guess this is becoming a little tradition...

I don't leave anything in there except for maybe a jacket which gets tucked deep behind the stairs on the right side on the DJ booth..

I did see a couple Non TA girlies (or at least ones I didn't recognize ) sitting on that platform talking to Aaron for a bit - Hardly looked like anything funny was going on though. :SThen again, I was mashed so my memory is hardly something to be counted on.. But this still sucks |

leaving something behind the DJ booth at Purple Room is just as likely to get stolen as hiding something in any other club...its not monitored, the bouncers don't care if you lose something, and you shouldn't expect the item to be there at the end of the night if you leave it unattended....
simple common sense! im not putting any of you down, it's just that you need to realize that even though you are surrounded by fellow TAs, your personal belongings are still at risk! Take only the essentials into the club (ie money, ID, whatever else you plan on holding onto for the night) and leave the rest in the car...

Okay, I'm sorry for my glibb comment. I too agree that Jamie should be a little less overt.
Cale, Lisa.... please accept my apology for making light of this.
Congrats to what Cale and Steve have said. I've said it before and it went un-noticed. I'm glad things were put out there once again.
Props to you two, you said what I've been thinking since the summer.
