Hah, because Florida is a dead genre, like Big Beat. And in Toronto especially. However, that doesn't mean that it stops sounding good to me.... much like Big Beat, in fact. :P

I figured I would bring it up because the board is called Tranceaddict, and there was always a lot of crossover between Florida and certain types of trance.

well its not really dead

DJ Icey, Baby Anne and the likes still make florida breaks...DJ Mea too but its a very tight subgenre indeed

Why don't you just download them as they get upped instead of weeks after? That would be the logical thing to do...

This is for Alex, lol.

Just wanted to say I officially truly enjoyed one of the breaks sets I heard at Destiny 666.

I *think* it was Myagi (??), but whoever it was, it was just phenomenal and so enjoyable to hear and move to, the perf music for that point in time of the night for me. It wasnt even that I was only 'not minding' dancing and socializing w/ everyone in the breaks room, I was really loving it.

^5 Cheers Alex, I now understand at least a little better why the fuck you love this damn music so much!

Glad I could finally properly share a breaks experience with you (it was definitely over do my friend)

(now back to my techno)

did you hear a daft punk track being played? [if so, myagi was playing]

FYI - dont you remember me talking to you at london pub? I SAID YOU WOULD BE CONVERTED! wait till you hear dnb sir!

[ok you're not converted but still]

LOL, I recall you saying it, Mona. Ill doubt ill ever be converted. Its a real RARE thing that I enjoyed the breaks.

I'm friend w/ Marty McFly, so I get to hear breaks all the time... though the funkier ones mostly... which do nothing for me, but its not that i hate breaks, just dont truly enjoy or love them.

No DnB though, I really do hate that music! It annoys me and gets me agitated and hostile it seems. I absolutely dislike actively hearing dnb.

Jungle i dont mind for a few minutes (untill i hear an MC), bc it'll at frist make me be remincistant of happy hardcore, but then it gets repetitive and annoying (to me).
