Whatever he said or did must have been pretty bad, not that I'm unsportsmanlike or anything but depending on the severity of the comment or deed it might have been warranted. Maybe I watch too much hockey where hitting is ok, but retaliating is fine by me. Sad France lost though

i don't think i've been this happy since senegal shocked france in 2002 (i was so happy i ended up buying a senegal jersey )

yeah...zidane has a reputation of a hothead, but honestly this is just a little blemish in his storied career as arguably the greatest player of his generation

I got sprayed with water and champagne a few times.
The cops seemed to break it up around 7:30 pm, which is when I left, but the revelers may have regrouped afterwards.

Bars in and around Little Italy were packed! Lots of people were watching from outside, through the windows.

There was a big outdoor tv screen that showed the game early on, but for some reason, they had to shut it off.

it probably had to do with the crowds blocking traffic, and cars needed to get through

Zidane the humble person that he is only did this because he was provoked and i can only think of 2 reasons either the player was givin him racist comments about him or his team mates or he was talkin shyt about zidane's mother who is in very bad condition, his reaction was normal i think anyone would've fuckin snapped after such a horrible comment, of course no one wanted it to happen and throughout this whole game we were dominating the italians!! and yes they were cheatin and playin DIRTY!! its only when it came to the shootouts that the italians got lucky which doesnt really decide who the tru winner is...... no matter what though i believe France played very well and in my book they are #2 i dont see anyone else out there who got to the finals like we did !!
