Didn't he play "Love You More?"
Wow. OK i think i'm good to give my review now.
I arrived at the Guv with Alex at around 10:45. I had yet to get my ticket so i wanted to get there early. Spoke to some of the security staff while waiting in line and was very suprised at how organized everything was (he ranted or a while). The line FLEW by, amazing. Chilled by the tent and waited for my other friends to show. I really enjoyed the sounds of Chris Laroque, good tunes to get the night started.
Once everyone arrived we headed straight for the KoolHaus for Armin. The crowd wasn't that bad but the ventilation was ASS-POOR! There is no way it should have gotten that sticky in there. And for god sakes if they don't want to ventilate the place put some insulation on the airducts so we don't get SOAKED with a SWEAT-COCKTAIL dripping from the cieling. Other than that the sounds and lights were great. I was expecting a few more hard tracks but overall it was a good set. I enjoyed Proper Education and Live Less Ordinary. It sucked that I had to leave to get some air so i missed about 30 mins of his set.
The worst part of the night was the mission and back from the Skybar. OH MY GOD. I was going to lose it when we were trying to get through the Drink. And we aren't D&B fans at all so we did not enjoy that what so ever.
We got back to Junkie XL. He was ok. I had to sit down for a while after our expedition to the SkyBar and back to i could have energy for Ferry. Once he came on we were back up and at it. We relocated to the side where lots of the TAs were and that was by far the best time of the night. Ferry did a good job and i met a whole bunch of you. I don't remember most of your names but i'm sure we'll run into each other again.
Overall, you have to give props to Charles and the boys for having a party like that with minimal fuck ups. They just have to do something about the Drink.
Well, thats it, i'm heading to back to Kingston today. I'll see you guys at an event on Christmas Break!
PEACE

I LOVE that track
Ooops, posted in the wrong thread before. Hee hee.
Here is my review.
I think the best call of the night was to get to D'luxe Lounge and stay there. Good call lil'G.
Got there pretty early. Parked the car in valet. Got in pretty fast in the ticket holders line. Immediately ran into 50 TAs at the enterance of the Kool Haus. Said a couple hellos and went on our way to the Main Room. It was so amazingly comfortable in there from beginning to end, I couldn't believe it. The only problem we encoutered was the mad pushing to get upstairs to The Drink, D'Luxe Lounge and Skybar which was so strange because there was plenty of room everywhere but I guess people have to panic for some reason.
Brad had a great opening set (I didn't notice that he was on for longer especially since Luke Fair was down on the dance floor the whole time). Rave on Bradley, rave on!
Listened to a about 45 of Luke who also was building it up very nicely. I just wish the lights weren't so crazy in Guv because it really takes away from the progressive atmosphere.
Went upstairs to Skybar to say hello to Mr. Barato and had to walk through The Drink. WHAT A MAD HOUSE! But really great to see people seriously partying it up. Had a nice relaxing time up in Skybar with Justin and Shelley. Music was great as always from Nathan.
Then we wanted to head back to Guv but to our dismay we had to travel all the way through the Kool Haus to get there. What an adventure that was. I mean, I am pretty used to large crowd parties so I really didn't mind the craziness. Got to get a few photos of Armin. Say hello to some more TAs and then off to Guv again for Hernan. We immediately went straight for the D'Luxe Lounge and hung out there in my trusty self made VIP booth (LOL!). Where we listened to some of the best tunes of the night. I couldn't believe I wasn't excited to see Hernan. He was good. Real good, especially the last 30 minutes. God was is the name of that freaky song, the one from Digweed's WMC Pawnshop set? What a fucking tune on the large sound system.
For Digweed, I was happy with his set. It's always a pleasure to see him develop something over the course of his playing. I enjoyed his last year set slightly more, but not to say I hated this one. Just wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was nice. Wasn't scary at all like I thought it might be. I really just think the Guv is too bright for the likes of Digweed. Turn off the lights people. Again I saw John fixing the equipment to make sure everything was perfect. A true professional. I wanted to spend the end of the night in the trance room so as soon as Benny Benassi came on and slowed everything right down.
Went into the trance room and the party was really a completely different vibe in there. People are crazy! I loved it. I really miss the trance from long ago. The melodies are just not there anymore but nonetheless there was so many TAs that were having so much fun. It was great to see.
All and all, this was a very successful LoL for me. In terms of music and comfort level. Everything worked out perfectly and I was happy I went. Nothing to complain about.

Spent the entire night in the K/H since I will never understand how anyone could actaully stand being the in Guv Main Room. Its always rammed full at an all access event and more hotter then a gym locker room. Great seeing all the TA's and dancing my ass off with all of you once again. Also nice meeting and partying with the polish TA community. You ladies rock! Till the next big event I guess. |

maybe it was because we got there so late (12:30), but it didnt seem like they were really searching anyone very hard at the guv door? they patted my pockets and that was it. just seemed very different from the third degree i remember in the past.

I think Sunday night reignited my love for trance, good job guys![]()
Ahh finally back home, I had an awesome time at LOL. When people said that place gets packed I didn't realize it gets ridiculous as it was wow. Trying to get to one room to the otherside was hell. Thnx to the TOTAs, and everyone else that I met for being so welcoming and friendly, you guys are awesome!!

Few things.
1. I don't recall Armin dropping Bass Society that night, I would remember that, I play that song 1o times a day.
2. When he finished with Seven Cities that was simply wonderful.
3. People in the front row during Ferry's set were the coolest people I ever met.
4. Sasha, thanks for turning around to take a pic of us, really cool of you, quality came out great, but I look like a retard ha ha. But thanks so much dude.

| Originally posted by Orko I really do think this is the overall feeling that people had about Diggers. Last year's set was so killer its hard to repeat it. I think we were all just happy that he played a typical digweed set, top notch! |

holy crap
HOly shit....i was literally dragged there, because i didn't want to go because of the crowd...BUT I HAD AN AWESOME TIME!!!!!!!! i wore really comfy shoes and a comfortable outfit...(ALTHOUGH NOTE TO SELF: do NOT wear a shirt that says DANCE YOU FUCK...people will NOT leave you alone and now there are about 50 sketchy pictures of you all around Toronto...)
My feet still hurt, i danced for 10 hours straight. I moved around a lot so i could check everything out...But my favourite place was the tent for sure. Tommy Sunshine kicked some serious ASS. SOME DIRTY DIRTY beats...and we got to talk to John Digweed who was hanging out checking Tommy out too...
BIGGEST upset of the night was DEFINITELY princess superstar THAT CHICK KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!! in the span of three songs she played Guns and Roses welcome to the jungle and The doors "Hello i love you"...at that point i thought i wasn't going to be able to dance anymore..but i just lost my fucking mind over it. If anyone knows where to get sets from her please let me know cuz that girl is fucking awesome.
Addy's set up on the sky bar at the end was awesome, watching the sun go up and that World hold on track made me super happy.
Only one criticism..:ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED?!!? THOSE JUNGLE PEOPLE NEED MORE ROOM!! they need to kick their legs around and shit...STOP PUTTING THEM IN THE DRINK.
All in all about a 91/2 out of ten...got kinda sketchy at the end people kept wanting to take a pic of my shirt...BUT other then that aaaaaaaawesome.
